ESPN just showed their bias when comparing Indiana and Ohio State. They compared national rankings for PPG, Passing YPG and Passing TDs....Ohio State led all of those categories, especially Passing YPG 4th overall to Indiana's 59th, but strangely chose to omit Rushing YPG where Indiana is 17th and Ohio State is 55th. Might seem an innocent omission, but I think we all know it was deliberate!

Been feeling more confident as this week has gone on. Their run attack against our run defense should be a major win, unless everything is turned on its head from what we've seen so far. Plus when we have "struggled" against the run its a moblish QB.

So far this year, they do not get after the QB, Their pressure and sack rates are nothing to be scared about.

Their third down D is bad. Granted we need to execute better on first and second down. Tho given how vertical we try to be thats been at least part of our issue of being in worse 3rd down positions this year.

What is their offense outside of Smith? I keep hearing about their other guys popping off eventually. Hasn't happened. Also our scheme last year against them was limit him as much as possible, and shut everyone else down. Their second guy last year was significantly better than anything they have shown this year

I would never guarantee a win. But I feel good.

Extremely daunted about Jeremiah Smith against our secondary

I was quite happy with our secondary with Harris back.

But yes.  We need to cover Smith for 3-4 seconds while the pass rush gets home.

Make Sayin look off smith and not have time for Smith to make something special happen

Definitely disagree you treat spacing and assignments differently.

This is just completely not true. A game plan in itself is based 90%+ on scheme. Khobie Martin wouldn't even be on their radar..

if you don’t think size and propensity to break tackles gets factored into defensive planning I would introduce you to Bryant Haines who makes the defenders do separate scouting reports on every single player on the opposing teams offense.  I’m sure we famously do that because all RBs are the same

There is just simply zero difference in OSUs game plan if Martin plays vs doesn't play.

Just a PSA to anyone that may see this, that's going tomorrow, and that hasn't been to a game this season:

GET IN THE STADIUM EARLY. At least 20 minutes before you think you need to. Ingress is a mess. They don't have enough staff, metal detectors, or space. Also if you happen to be on the East side, Big Noon's production trucks turn that side into even more of a clusterf***. If you're moseying up to the stadium at 11:45 you won't see kickoff. I promise. And Big Noon games kick off at like 12:10.

OSU has the edge in talent, not even going to argue that. They have arguably the best player in college football, no doubt. I want IU to make them beat us because they are just better. We have enough talent and the better coaching staff to get the win. If we don't give them anything easy, win the turnover battle, and commit fewer penalties, I like our chances. After all, this isn't your grandfather's Indiana.
