I’ll say we go 10-2, dropping two road games between Michigan, UW, or a stunner at Nebraska.

So so much riding on that home game vs OSU. Win that and we’re essentially a CFP lock

11-1, loss @ Washington. Win the B18 Championship over Oregon.

I'll go the homer route and say 11-1. We drop (in order of likelihood) @Washington or OSU.

I've said it before, but if 10-2 gets us a home playoff game, sign me the hell up.

I think I guessed 10-2 or 11-1 last year.

I'm saying 12-0 this year.

I know we will lose a football game again eventually at some point, but I think we reloaded and Cig, Haines, and Shanahan are at the top of their game. 

It won't be easy and we will need some things to break our way... every team does. I don't see us going any worse than 10-2 in the regular season.

We all know this IUFB turnaround has been beyond special, and after chapter 3, the rest of the country won't be able to stay in denial about it.

I guessed 9-3 last year.  I self imposed limitations on IUFB.  Shameful.

Our O/U is 10.5.  I'll say 10-2.  Just get us in the playoff and it's house money...

Statistically I know we might lose one. But since I can’t decide which one I am going go 12-0. 
 

And then likely beating Oregon to go 13-0

I’ll go with 11-1. Home for OSU, @washington and @ michgan will be tough games with UM possibly being the toughest.

I'm going with 10-2 as the floor.  Remembering how poorly IU played at Iowa and Penn State makes me think they might not get so fortunate this year.  Also, Mendoza threw a pick in each of those games.  The course of a season is very long and strange things happen.  Another perfect regular season is asking a lot.  Even Ohio State, in their best years, managed to cough up a game or two . . . see their Michigan game two years ago.  That one never should have happened but it did.

Yeah, we were a little fortunate. Iowa and PSU were both one first down away from icing the game. Two plays prior to the Omar Cooper catch their LB slipped while lunging for what would have been an easy pick off a tipped pass. 

Also we didn’t lose a fumble after the first half of game 1. 

But being well-prepared can shift “luck” in your favor. Cig is the best at that.
