Stuhoo Posted August 28 Posted August 28 15-1. A defense that goes down in history as the most disruptive ever. In addition to the expected front seven monsters, Ndukwe and Burnham are monsters. Our running backs have a unimaginable number of explosive plays. Tyler Morris leads the team in receptions. Barker becomes the primary tight end. Freshman Gibbs takes the Nowakowski goal line H-back role. Preston Zachman and Kaiden Turner leads the team in interceptions. Grant Wilson is forced into extensive big game duty and he is a revelation. As in, national news level revelation. Grant Wilson is way, way, WAY more talented than you think, especially from the neck up. And he can run. National Champions. 68Hoosier, Hollywood Mike Miranda and skhoosier2 3 Quote

RoadRage Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Our defense is going to be #1 in the nation....all our offense will need to score is 17 points and we win. 12-0! Repeating as B1G and National champs will be a much tougher assignment than going undefeated in the B1G regular season in my opinion. We will be playing USC in the B1G Championship and they might get us the second time? Quote
Lebowski Posted Tuesday at 02:42 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:42 PM IUFB wins more than they lose with a good chance to play in the CFP. Otherwise, they play in and most likely win a bowl. And I've been dreaming to post something like this for decades. Times have changed and I still can't believe I'm living it baby!!! Dave from Dayton 1 Quote
Dave from Dayton Posted Tuesday at 03:35 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:35 PM The second miracle on 17th! Undefeated, again. Banners up! OSU loses, not only to IU again...but to UM again. Purdue still sux. They change the name of their football stadium to Band-Aid. Quote

I believe it’s actually known as “The second mircigle on 17th!” LOL Quote
TTT Posted Wednesday at 10:26 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:26 PM 12-0, by then no one will be good enough to beat IU 13-0, 14-0, 15-0, 16-0 Quote
Napleshoosier Posted Wednesday at 11:40 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:40 PM We run the table again! 16-0 Quote
Iufan71 Posted Thursday at 04:14 AM Posted Thursday at 04:14 AM As far as regular season predictions...ill say 11-1.....beating OSU and then having a let down game at Michigan. I think outside of record..im most worried bout our secondary and TE spot. Losing Deangelo was huge and will be really hard to replace.....i even heard he was offered QB-type money to come back this season. As far as the TE spot...not having a Nowakowski or Horton type experienced vet will be a tough to replace. Post season predictions....100% making the CFP again...and then its all about matchups! Go Hoosiers!! Home Jersey 1 Quote

It's actually crazy to think just a few short years ago we would have been happy with a bowl and now that seems like a letdown after 16-0 and the natty LOL I even told my wife when Cig was hired they will build him a statue if he just makes a bowl yearly. Demo Posted Thursday at 01:06 PM Posted Thursday at 01:06 PM 11-1 Not loving going to Ann Arbor coming off the at Nebraska/OSU back to back. That 1 feels rough. But what a surreal thing to even contemplate, “So disappointing we didn’t beat Nebraska/OSU/UM back to back to back.” Home Jersey, Jeff Flabjohns and skhoosier2 3 Quote

That would be a great way to describe Cigs contribution without telling the whole store. “He consistently went to bowl games” Quote
IUFootballHappyHappyJoyJoy Posted Thursday at 06:27 PM Posted Thursday at 06:27 PM Last year I was trying to be reasonable and only wanted a bowl win. Instead I got a Big Ten Championship, a win over Ohio State, a Rose Bowl win, and a National Championship. All in my lifetime at once. **** it, imma be greedy; 16-0.
