This fouling up three before five seconds left has got to stop. Coaches are so terrified of overtime they do it with 10-15 seconds left only to lose in regulation with missed free throws and turnovers in play.

The next coach who fouls up three early needs to be fired as soon as it backfires to teach these modern guys a lesson. I hate Duke and glad they lost, but its another example of coaching not understanding modern strategy.

Yes the turnover was awful, but even if foul is given, Duke is in one and one and same three pointer for loss could well happen. With one and ones and no ability to take it half court in college, this fouling up three with over ten seconds left has got to be thrown in dustbin of history.

If DeVries every does that and it causes a loss, you can bet I will be emailing Dolson next morning demanding firing and accountability. Coaches need to learn to stop bringing losing into play in regulation which is all you are doing if you foul before five seconds.

Regardless of result, its the worst idea the coaching community has ever come up with pre-five seconds.

Like Ryan Day before his title. The massive $ donors will start to get restless without a title in the next few years.
If he left for the NBA…Dukes the top gig in the sport. #1 NIL like OSU football. They’d be more than fine

Braylon Mullins -- shoulda been a Hoosier!

Woodson didn't recruit him very hard.  Unfortunately, there wasn't a first-class golf course in Greenfield.

Hard to explain how delicious the loss by the pretentious ones from Durham was today.  And in glorious fashion!

should be a fun Final Four

Just saw Mullins’ game winner again and it occurred to me that the real unsung hero of Duke going home is Steph Curry. Kid throws up a 35 footer and for him it’s a just a regular old jump shot. 15 years ago it would have been at least a bit of throw. But this generation that’s grown up on Curry and Lillard and how they changed the game have just developed different stuff. I like defending the old game as much as the next guy but the skill level on the perimeter now is just a different deal entirely.
