This team made it to late January before playing a single really close game. The kind of game that could truly go either way in the last two minutes.

Now we've had 4 in a row.

What about Mega SuperBet in Puerto Rico? An 81-80 barnburner!  Perhaps the experience was more valuable than we could have imagined.

(just kidding)

Is this game worth a replay watch later? I didn’t get to tune in

I just watched it on replay after being out at noon…

YES WATCH IT FOR SURE! Best game of the season—Wisconsin played great and made tons of shots. Serious gut check win when we couldn’t make shots.

And yes; the refs were VERY generous. Very, very VERY generous.

Finally? Sam Alexis. The day belongs to many, but above all?

Sam Alexis.

Agree. From what I was able to see, Sam played like a B1G level big.

And we’ve won 4 of last 5.

Say what you will about late game fugly ball but this is a tourney team. And it’s so nice to see end of game smooth FT shooting (thank you Wilkerson)

Biggest question mark for me at this point is how we go about working Conerway back in effectively while still winning games.

Fantastic question. Conerway is one of the few guys we have that can create his own, but the offense gets stagnant when he pounds the rock at the top of the key. I would work him back slowly off the bench, maybe back to starting depending on performance. Minutes for Enright will most assuredly come down, but I think it will be balanced.

The foot may have contributed to the foul being called, but with 2.8 seconds left, if it were called on us... we'd be screaming bloody murder and ripping our hair out blaming the ref. Wouldn't fault Wiscy fans for feeling that way.

Maybe, until I saw the Jeremy Fears Special then I’d probably ignore anyone still whining about it and take the L.

Tired of dudes getting away with that BS.

An under discussed aspect of this game: Miles seems ahead of Sisley in the rotation now. I think he has a lot of potential, even though he'll have a pretty limited role this year.

Trent comes in with great energy. Had another good OOB play run for him similar to UCLA game.
After that late first half turnover he rode the bench. Felt a little unfair

They both make too many mistakes to play big minutes at this point. I like Trent's energy and Miles is a good defender / rebounder. Bouncy athlete. DDV didn't like a shot Dorn took toward the end of regulation and went with Miles for a sub. Curious what these two develop into next year.

… because they are mentally as tough as can be.

I think this is off by a little.  Just watched the replay when I got home.  Alexis had 4 Fgs from 7 min mark to the 5 min mark.   He saved the day

Unless that’s including OT then I’m not there yet
