In real time I thought Blackwell pulled on his arm and dragged him forward.  It was an awkward movement. This explains it well.  Seeing all the Wisconsin fans crying on X while being so clearly wrong is enjoyable.  lol

Nothing new about Wisconsin fans being wrong. Only difference is the refs weren’t helping them win

That's the thing, Big Ten refs making the correct calls is so disorienting, I am having a hard time acclimating.

I can be talked into Woodys teams playing hard. But his defensive X’s and O’s were so poor it didn’t matter. I think this team gets lost at times offensively, but man they compete and have excellent strategy on defense. Probably the first time I could say that about an IU team since Sampson took over.

Had to listen to OT in the car radio, had no idea there was controversy around the whistle toward the end. 

I can't get enough of Wisconsin fan tears on X. Love it. Looks like it was the correct call too but I wish it wasn't just so they could taste their own medicine of bs calls that just happen to go their way. 

It's like they're completely ignorant as to a huge reason we haven't won in Madison since 1998.

I didn’t believe we were a tourney team in December or the early part of the year. But I do believe we have found something and are going to be dancing this year. Which is huge for the program moving forward. Just keeping winning the home games.

The refs were terrible, again.  In the first half, the refs let the teams play.  In the second half, the refs called a game that they did not see.  The last few minutes, IU may have been helped by the referees becoming part of the selection committee.  Did the UW player step on Wilkerson's heel and trip him?  Yes.   Did UW's guard always lower his head and nail our defender in the chest?  Yes.  Were they both controversial?  Yes.

Gee, makes one think of the home cooking in Kohl Arena since forever.  IU has gotten screwed by those zebras, maybe it is our turn....for some help.  I don't care...gotta win in spite of the calls.

IU owned the paint. A tip of the ole toupee to Big Sam!  9 of 10 from the field...and blocks and rebounds.  DeVries is back!  Enright played some serious ball.   Looked like 3 of our guys weren't playing great...maybe flu.  And Wilkerson got frustrated and shot selection wasn't great from way out.  But he is cool at the line down in the end.  

Why Coach Devries and Coach Gard both do not call timeouts when it would help compose their teams, I just don't understand.

  Our defense was better.  IU won the game with grit.

  But bad officiating in the B1G is SOP. Complain about the weather too, Coach Gard?  Playing defense would be more productive.

He is so weak at the rim.  On the other hand, Alexis has really stepped it up.  

Overall, I think the team is playing very hard and starting to gel a bit.  I think they are one good post player from being a really good team.  With that said, if they can take care of home court and win one in the BTT, I think they will be dancing in March.  I say think because you never know what the selection committee will do.

If they win their home games and finish 11-9 in the regular season that would be a wrap and the BTT game would be for seeding.   Winning the home games means another top 11 win (Sparty) which  would give them 2 massive top of the bracket wins with 0 bad losses.  I don’t even think the committee could leave out a team that finished over .500 in the second toughest conference this year.

Yeah, it’s beating MSU that might be the problem.  :)

Question from yesterday's game.  At one point one of the Wisconsin players shot a 3 and it hit the top of the backboard.  My son and I both thought that was considered out of bounds.  What is the rule on that?
