Further, Didn’t even give one iota of credit to Indiana. Didn’t seem to take any responsibility on himself either. Which is not surprising RaceToTheTop 1 Quote

It is a little scary and a lot hilarious. This transcript are his opening comments and it stays like this the whole dang time! A must see—trust me. The most amazing thing of all was that after we fired Woodson last year, there was a good faction of folks on here who wanted to hire this troll. Thankfully, we dodged that bullet. Brass Cannon Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Man rewatching the second OT now. Both teams looked gassed. Sisley was rough but fresh which helped him on that last play. He just was so explosive compared to everything else in the game. Really hoping that UCLA isn’t worn down from this game. Dent played 50 Minutes. Need them to beat Rutgers on Tuesday night. And obviously hope the guys are getting rest and ready to beat USC on Tuesday. Man I will probably end up watching and Wednesday Brasscannon will have to just deal with it Stuhoo and HoosierHoopster 2 Quote

Jeff Flabjohns Posted February 1 Posted February 1 55 minutes ago, Hoosier987 said: Agreed. DeVries has seemed to pivot as more of the glue guy. You know he’s probably frustrated not scoring the way he historically scores (he’s the active leading scorer in all division 1), but he’s finding massive ways to contribute that are leading to wins. He deserves credit. It’s sinking in for him that he’s not quick enough against this level of competition to get open looks. If he continues to be the glue guy…combined with Dorns shooting…I gotta lay off the Tucker hate. Still stinks to see that’s he’s relegated to pump faking 20 times a game, drive and kick. But his effort has been better elsewhere Quote
HoosierHoopster Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Re-watching the coaching is more obvious— down 14-8, timely TO to immediate turnaround, leading to 8-0 run, IU takes the lead. After Wilk hits his first 3 a couple plays later there’s a call out of the TO for a pick for Wilk to a cleanly executed 3 to 4-pt play. So nice to see quickly executed adjustments str8baller, Hoosier Roots and hoosierfan6157 3 Quote

The team needs to figure out wtf it’s doing against the press, but they could’ve easily folded after regulation but didn’t. Dorn’s emergence really transforms the team. There’s a clear path to the tournament for the guys now. Just gotta stack one game on top of the next and keep it moving. When Conerway was healthy, we were much much more comfortable against the press. Stuhoo, HoosierDevils and Hoosierfan2017 3 Quote
Hoosier987 Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Enright has been awesome too. Such a gritty player. Occasionally knocks down the 3 point shot and arguably our best defender Pagoda, Demo, hoosierfan6157 and 4 others 7 Quote
HoosierHoopster Posted February 1 Posted February 1 God the officiating down the stretch was so God awful, the blatant push on Wilkerson knocking him out of bounds and the ref says he stepped out. Just pathetic officiating WayneFleekHoosier and IUHoosierJoe 2 Quote

There are going to be guards that out athlete him, but the effort from Enright is always going to be there. That type of effort can be contagious and is important to have from a senior leader. Right now DDV subs him at the under 16 and back at the under 12 and then goes with matchups the rest of the half. Been the same every half of every game. Now they’d probably sub him in under 16, out probably right before the under 8 and then play matchups from there. And he’s gonna be on the floor at the end of games, no doubt about it. I doubt his total minutes would change at all. Home Jersey and HoosierDevils 2 Quote

One of my favorite things about our current Hoosiers is the free throw confidence I have in them except Sisley. Perry is another example of that. Great shooter from all levels. Our transfer portal guards need to have this trait. Most easily scoutable trait that translates. Quote
