The other site is saying there is a good chance we are going to lose Lynch (a Texas native) to Texas.
Hope that doesn’t happen as I don’t want to lose an OL.

That would stink.  I'm surprised.  I'm quite sure we can match whatever TX offers.  Maybe he just wants to play for his hometown team.

Just have to trust the staff figure it out -- my default conclusion for all IUFB situations.

If true, THAT would be the most massive transfer loss mentioned and it's not even close. Considering Lynch was projected to be at Center next year.

Our next backup QB?    [I'm kidding.  Or am I?]

Miami redshirt sophomore QB Emory Williams has entered the transfer portal, per @mzenitz and @chris_hummer. Has thrown for 813 yards and 4 TDs in his career.

I saw that one  wondered

Is Malachi Toney actually transferring? Like, is that real news?

247 portal doesn't show him... Miami had 4 enter today:

OT Deryc Plaza, CB Amari Wallace, QB Emory Williams and LB Bobby Washington Jr

A fare-the-well from Alberto.

Not gonna lie -- I'm gonna miss that kid. Guess I'm a little naive, because I thought he was gonna be our next QB1.

Hoover -- you'd better be the real deal.

I will cheer so hard for Georgia Tech in 26.  And if he’s able would love to welcome him back in 27.  Class family all the way

If he puts up some number at G Tech, he could very well be back.

Only problem now is, without a viable backup, we are one bad hit from 5-7.

That’s the reality of the NIL era.  Some teams don’t even have the 1.

Duke thanks to Miami, maybe.  They will be forced to play a redshirt freshman.

Just a question, but I haven't seen Fernando officially declare for the draft yet.  I would think that he would be crazy to pass up being the first pick, but I wonder if he is just letting it all soak in.

I feel like Duke is going to win this.  They can’t stop him from transferring. But they can’t stop him from playing.

I doubt the courts want to throw out decades of contract law

Washington won this same fight.
