Was really worried about Miles after the Baylor scrimmage, kid looked straight spooked, and didn’t look great in his 1st rotation last night. But the energy looked way better after he hammered that dunk and then stepped into that 3 totally in rhythm. Hopefully that was the light coming on because he’s gonna get minutes at least until guys get healthy.

Totally agree with you there. Wasn't sure what to make of Miles after the scrimmages. Didn't know if there'd be minutes for him once some of the injured guys are back. Yesterday you could see it starting to click a little more as the game went on. The bench unit will be a lot stronger if DDV can get the best out of Miles this year and Dorn comes back healthy (maybe Enright moves to 6th man? I kinda think not be depends how good Dorn is, I guess). Really want to see Harris too, but don't think that's on the table before December.

The floor was getting to a distracting amount of yellow to me. I thought it was starting to look terrible on TV. It was a bit bright last night, but that's a TV camera problem. That deep yellow definitely isn't a tradition:

Yea.  The cameras were a bit wonky - noticeably difference color level and tint from above versus court level.  I think the court is a bit too light, though.

Last night was the first time I'd ever preferred the players names were on the jerseys, LOL

This picture is a good reminder to be extremely careful buying tickets in section K. There are seats for sale RIGHT behind the TV cameras. I'd be furious if I ended up there and wasn't aware. I believe it's rows ~32-38 seats ~1-6 you're looking at a camera guy's hole the entire game.

I thought pretty much the same thing about Bailey at the Baylor exhibition game. I seemed slow, and frankly, a bit lost. Was night and day difference last night. Granted the opponent's talent level was significantly less last night, but still, I liked what I saw vs AAMU.

I think Reed was playing more of his natural position last night. He’s not a post up big, but he can make a ton of mismatches playing out on the floor

now it looks like this, and honestly it looked worse on TV, this picture doesnt do it justice:

It really needed to be refinished which isn't a bad thing.  It will just take a bit of getting used to and it will also fade a tick over time.

I don't NOT like it, it's just different. Traditions be damned.

I think I’d like it well enough live but didn’t like it a bit on TV. Felt like it washed out everything. Will need to get used to it.

Hmm.  To each their own, but I liked the lighter court.

For reference, here was our court in 1994 with a nostalgic graphic!  The new court looks closer to this, which I like.

The thing I liked about this picture was the 46 game home winning streak. Need to get back to where other teams don't win inside if AH

Sorry if I missed this somewhere in this thread, but does anybody know why Sisley's numbers were so low? Looks like he played 18 minutes but only 2pts and 3 rebounds. Not completely unexpected for a freshman, but the way he was playing in exhibition I figured he might have a little more production. Only one game I know.

It was the same against Baylor. Wasn't forcing anything and the ball didn't find him. I think as of right now the Marian game was likely the outlier. He'll get better and already physically looks the part. Freshman being a freshman is what I'd chalk it up to.
