It was one of 2-3 games that I got to watch that year. Great game and an even better finish. I’m glad I missed the season after it fell apart after the Sampson debacle. I’d be ok having Frazier on the new staff Thank you for your service bird4par, Ryno6284, DLG3 and 10 others 12 1 Quote

Jeff Flabjohns Posted March 22, 2025 Posted March 22, 2025 I may have missed it, but do Murphy and DeVries have a prior relationship? Stealing him from Bama seems wild Quote

The one young staffer from the prior staff that I would consider worthy of consideration for retention would be Isaac Green. lillurk, MemphisHoosier, cybergates and 1 other 4 Quote

Murphy has good rep with Alabama but despite Drew being well regarded with AAU here he is at low major that is not killing it. What am I missing. MikeRoberts 1 Quote

Man - I’m well aware. He can possibly bring Bidunga and others via transfer. He has connections to AAU and coaching circles in the Midwest. If you are basing his ability to get recruits off his time at Cincinnati, I can’t help you. thebigweave 1 Quote

If he was a strong hire, he wouldn’t still be at Cincinnati. We need coaches that produce, not just that they are from Indiana or connected because of his dad. In the NIL world money talks. Quote

I think it makes sense to have a coach with a strong Indiana AAU/HS connection so Drew makes sense. Murphy would seemingly be a good add but the remaining assistants will determine if this is a strong or just good staff (on paper). lillurk 1 Quote
