Agree but I think UM has a better front 4 than OSU

Absolutely. Watching Kenneth Grant work is a treat. Michigan is a remotely competent offense away from being a 9-10 win team. The offense is THAT bad.

Michigan is likely the most talented team we’ve faced overall. Just lacking a qb and competent coach.

My 4th all time IU football game for me. Went to one in 2012, 2016, and around 2019. This game was on a different planet. I've been to Bowl games before but talk about a BIG time college football atmosphere. I'm an NFL guy first but I'm slowly moving toward College Football being tied with the NFL for me.

1) Bloomington was buzzing early. We got into town around 11:30, 4 hours before kick off. It was bumper to bumper.

2) Tailgating is much better when you know people. Was able to stop by a few nice tailgates.

3) The Walk is pretty cool. I've seen it on TV before and IU has a very nice Gameday tradition there.

4) Love that the crowd was pretty much inside the stadium around 3:00.

As far as the game goes, Rourke's TD pass to Surratt was right in front of us. Thought the game would be over then and the blowout was on. Did not realize IU had a missing offensive lineman. Michigan's front 7 is no joke. I think they have 4 high draft picks in that group. ESPN has Graham as the #1 player in the entire '25 draft class as of now. They just killed IU. Hope we don't see another front like that.

Coach Cig said this but I'm glad that this game was at home. I think the crowd made a huge difference. Love that they had a hard fought win and the bye week is perfect timing.

I had a few buddies texting me throughout the game complaining, even after the game. Anyone that is complaining look at it this way: What if on November 9, 2023 we told you that IU in one year from today would beat Michigan by 5 and would be 10-0 on the season. Anyone would have taken that. Yes, it's awesome to beat Michigan by 5 and still feel this team did not play well. But ask Georgia, LSU, and Miami if they'd like a 5 point win over their opponents today.

Last thing, IU should be 6 on Tuesday's poll. Tennessee, who will probably by 5,  will likely be an underdog at Georgia next week. It is possible that in two weeks you have #5 IU @ #2 Ohio State...would that be the biggest game in the history of IU football?

Yea, I think they have 2 future 1st rounders on the DL

We had not faced a single projected first round NFL player until yesterday.

Michigans DL features two projected first round picks (roughly the 5th and 21st overall picks) PLUS a projected third rounder. Our OL faced those THREE NFL DL guys while missing a starter and with a sub that only had one day to practice with the starters. The more I think about it the better I feel.

Their TE was one of their best weapons and he is projected late first round/early 2nd.

Rourke looked a little rattled which surprised me as did the dropped passes.

In spite of that we beat UM by 5, endured a great test/challenge and have a perfectly timed bye week. Who knows what will happen at OSU? They have taken care of some teams but only beat Nebraska by three. Can’t wait for the game.

Siap. Only the second time we’ve beaten UM in 28 years.

Of course it’s a good W!

OOOOOOOR... it's the second time we have beaten them in 5 years!  All depends how you look at it

Wanted to compare NFL talent on defense between Michigan and Ohio State per ESPN..found this to be interesting:

Michigan

#2 Mason Graham DT

#3 Will Johnson DB (DNP vs. IU)

#20 Kenneth Grant DT

#69 Josiah Stewart Edge

Ohio State

#28 Tyleik Williams DT

#37 Davison Igbinosun DB

#50 JT Tuimoloau Edge

#67 Jack Sawyer Edge

#94 Denzel Burke DB

Going to be another great challenge. I thought Grant was our biggest pain yesterday.

Zero IU players in their top 100. I know nothing about the evaluation process but Rourke and Kamara should be on that list.

Loving it... "even I was 2-0 against Indiana". O'Korn played in 2016 and 2017 (Kevin Wilson's last season and Tom Allen's first).

CCC is here now, so get used to getting beat, UM.

Yeah, he's refusing to believe IU is for real this year. Blinded by the brand bias. I doubt he would have done better against IU this year than they did. The defense and offense are both better for IU than when was in college. It's not as though they won because of him. From his wikipedia page:

After Speight was sidelined with an unspecified shoulder injury, O'Korn started and led the team to a 20–10 victory over Indiana on November 19. O'Korn posted 7 completions in 16 attempts for a total of 59 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. The performance represented the lowest passing yardage total for Michigan since John Navarre posted 58 in a November 17, 2001, victory for the 2001 Wolverines against Wisconsin.[19][20]

I disagree about Rourke, but maybe Kamara. The issue is... what IS Kamara at the next level? I have a hard time seeing him as a 4-3 DE..... but maybe a 3-4 stand-up guy.

Gotta think... Top 100 = Top 3 round draft pick-- that's tall cotton.
