We’ll get leapfrogged by UT if they beat UGA (or maybe the winner of that game regardless) but we shouldn’t have a very painful bye week. Let’s see if the committee stays in line with the AP Tuesday.

We'll probably be 6th overall but be in 8th as the last home team since BYU will move up to the 3rd auto bid and Miami/SMU/Boise? will be the 4th best conference leader and we'll be placed against ND, UGA, or Bama: The return of the 2019 staff.

I’d be so ready for a home game vs ND!

I feel like all the coverage I’ve read nobody is talking about the obvious here too: the big 12 and ACC suck. Them getting an automatic 3 and 4 seed is screwing up what the matchups should be and creating easy paths for some of the traditional powers coming from the 10-12 spots. Just rank them 1-12 and play ball!

This year and maybe next are essentially trial runs. Several articles I just saw have many different options of determining the top 12 or possibly 14 like multiple auto bids for the SEC and B1G, your idea of just top 12, or having a mix of the 2 where other conferences just slot in where they're ranked.

Narrative already starting about a 10-2 SEC team in over "11-1" IU. Disrespect is real. I know Cig will use it as motivation which they really don't need anymore. Man wouldn't it be nice to beat Ohio State so they can shut everyone up?

I don't understand the love affair with the SEC this year. Big Ten has 4 of the top 5 teams. IF IU were to lose to OSU, Ohio State is ahead of them. Indiana shouldn't drop that far.

If 11-1 IU gets left out, there are still major issues with how the champion is decided in this sport. Florida State should NOT have been left out last year. I don't care that they probably lose to Michigan by 40 in the Rose Bowl. Think of March Madness. The 4 "best" teams don't always get the 1 seed. It's based off resume. Ex: 2023 UConn two years ago. They were like a 4 seed. Lots of betting markets had them going to the Final 4. However, their resume was a 4 seed, not a 1 seed.

I don't see how 10-2 Ole Miss can get in over IU. Also, if we are going by "eye test" Tennessee has not been as impressive. Really good team, but can't put them over IU.

No one is gonna give IU a chance to beat Ohio State at the "Shoe" next Saturday. It's been that way all year. The ONLY thing that will change is the line for the game. I feel if we would have thumped Michigan Saturday, the line would/could been as low 8 to 10ish.

Coach Cignetti will definitely have them ready.... Ohio State will also be ready too.

When Georgia lost to Alabama they fell from #1 to #4 in the polls. When PSU lost to OSU they fell from #3 to #6. Precedent has been that losing to a top five team as a top five team doesn’t cost you much. But neither of those had the whole brand bias thing IU would be up against.

If they pull that crap the national media will absolutely blast the committee. Despite what many say the national pundits almost unanimously love IU. We have big hitters (Klatt, Kennel, Wasserman etc) trumpeting the case for IU weekly. IU in many ways have become America's darling and America loves an underdog story. If they put a 2 loss SEC school in over 1 loss B1G (IU) then people will lose their poo on the committee.

Bingo. The big hitters get it. IF Indiana had won most of their games like this did this last Saturday, I get it. They're 9-1 ATS this year. And they're just blowing teams out.

I think it is at -9.5 on Fan Duel. Felt like it went down. Was Ohio State around -12.5 I thought.

Big Noon kickoff is ruining college football.

From a viewer perspective I get it. However, with $ these networks are paying the B1G I think they have every right to determine networks and kickoff times. I'd much rather IU receiving 80 gazillion dollars and kickoff at noon than making Big 12 TV $ and kicking off at 8pm
