It's been quiet but as far as I know we're still in the running from Elyjah Freeman. If (big IF) we land him, it would be against some big time schools too. He's visited IU and Auburn and will be visiting Tennessee tomorrow.

Conerway by a pretty wide margin. I wasn't too impressed with mack last year. He has more potential I'd say but we need some defense in our lineup and I like what conerway brings

I lean Conerway. Like that he was POY in his conference, that says something. Like that he's a good defender and was a strong finisher at the rim. With our shooters, we need guards that can get into the paint and both finish and kick out. 

I dont love how much Mack's shooting efficiency dropped with the move from Harvard to Georgetown.

I imagine Wilkerson, Devries, and Bailey are locked in as projected starters. Let's assume the starting PG is in the Conerway/Enright mold (defensive minded distributor).

What are you looking for to round out that lineup?

I haven't watched them play, so I don't really have a preference based on that. I'd be happy with either from their stats. Probably an edge in preference for Conerway.

Conerway averages 2.5 steals per game. Was also  a conference POY. Much higher PER than Mack.

Mack has more eligibility left and is a slightly better shooter from 3 and the FT line. Looks like he might not be as good of a finisher around the rim as Conerway.

I did see one really whacked comment saying that Wilkerson looked very uncomfortable at Keeneland and it was good that Pope took him there because it exposed Wilkerson’s anti-social personality…and would certainly be a cancer.  My paraphrasing.  LOL So many maroons, as Bugs would say.

I think you can be flexible, but I’d probably ideally look for an athletic 4/5 hybrid who’s in the 6’8 - 6’10 range and can play around the rim and help us defensively.

How does Mack have more eligibility? They’ve both been in school in two years.

Yes, Conerway has only 1 year. He was JUCO, I believe.
