mike vannice Posted April 7 Posted April 7 lets go for Robert Wright and pair him with Enright and we are set at point guard. Then we need a couple of athletic bigs/rebounders/rim protectors. Add some high schoolers for depth and development and of course Elyjah Freeman as the athletic wing. That could be one helluva roster. Hardwood83, 8bucks and TrueHoosier62 3 Quote
Jeff Flabjohns Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Rob Wright would obviously be amazing, but very unrealistic. Duke, UNC, a loaded $EC school probably all going to be bidding for him kottke, Stuhoo, IUGRAD06 and 1 other 4 Quote

Devonte Green years were also Archie Miller years. If we don't have a coach that can effectively use players in their system it's all futile. Reasonably optimistic that we will have our 'alpha' players and after that the system will then be critical. kottke and moyemayhem 2 Quote

Historically we have had coaches just keep the players. I think Archie kind of got away from the type of kids that made him successful at Dayton. It was why I was like let them all leave and get players that fit what you are trying to accomplish. thebigweave 1 Quote

Home Jersey Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Armchair QB take of the day: start at 2M and go up to 3.5M for Rob Wright lol. He’s that good. Quote
Hoosierfanyuh Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Saw a tweet UConn is the earlier favorite for him…. Lmao Mullins/Adams have to be getting at least a little irritated if it comes to fruition Home Jersey, WayneFleekHoosier and Alford Bailey 3 Quote

No way either of them or Wright comes off the bench IMO. Still makes me nervous though because he’s well sought after and I wouldn’t be shocked if teams continue to probe until committed. He mostly makes me feel better about Conwell. Doesn't seem that long ago when Oscar Tshiebwe's $2M NIL deal at UK was dropping jaws. Now the market is on steroids, and the best are getting well beyond that. Is done but not committed yet basically a verbal? I agree many others will likely be coming after him. I wonder if he has a no-contact posting on his portal info Quote

What a great deal for UK back then. AD would be $4M+ today... AKHoosier, Soulsnipes, Hutch89 and 2 others 5 Quote
