I'd be curious on your thoughts on Odih when you watch him. I really like him as a bulldog of a guard that would (in time) help the shooters that would be surrounding thrive and not get picked on defensively.

I've now watched 5 full games that span all 3 1/3 seasons of Tucker's career. Tucker has grown exponentially in his BBIQ from FR to this past season. I think he's often times possibly too unselfish. But man oh man he's going to have some games in AH that are going to have us fans on cloud 9. He's the kind of guy that can elevate his team from good to elite. Need a stud PG and I expect DDV to prioritize that position in the portal. His teams always feature a strong and smart PG. If Goode gets a waiver and you add that PG plus an athletic big then I think next year's team could legit contend for a B1G title. Tucker really is that damn good.

My respect for him maxed out last year when Drake played at ISU. Tucker's shoulder was in shambles, he had a bad foot or ankle injury, and the road environment that night was serious. He went for 26 and 10 and was the only reason they didn't get run off the floor even with everything working against him. Wasn't super efficient, in fairness, but I was right behind their bench and he was in a ton of pain all night. The guy is a monster.

Izzo success was over two decades. I could name 6 great PGs off the top of my head

IU’s success in 2010’s was facilitated by Yogi/Hulls

Is he considered a 1st round pick? If not let’s hope the vote this summer to go from 4-5 years happens because then that’s 2 years of him here

Hawthorne requested a release from WVU  so there's a chance he doesn't end up there. That's got to be a kick in the nuts since he's from WV.

I'm not an NBA guy and haven't checked any mocks but I doubt 1st rd. His speed and quickness will cap him. But he's got the kind of game that could male him a 10 year journeyman in the league I'd think. But idk crap when it comes to NBA talent.

If i have learned anything in recent years, it's that speed and quickness are two of the most overrated things in the NBA. Luka and Joker are slower than pond water and absolutely dominate. And people's concerns for them were speed and quickness.

I agree but I imagine GM's still consider them to be important traits for a 1st rounder? Legit asking because I know you follow NBA closely

Luka went Top 5. Joker though went 2nd round because of his athleticism... But now he's the best player in the league.

I was just telling someone how much i was going to miss Frans antics. As long as you kept him away from the defensive end I'm on board. 

I really like the Desmond Brisco idea as well. 

I would go a step further and say Sherron Wilkerson as a #3 on the bench would be something to consider in terms of recruiting. Not to mention the big he has signed at Northwestern.
