I don’t know the full rules on posting stuff from another paid site, pretty sure that’s a no-no. So all I will say is, that is if Bruce Pearl is your number 1 target, you’d be happy with what he said.

I know screenshots are a no-no but I think you can summarize.

I used to but in the last couple of weeks it’s been him telling us everything and we’re not allowed to say what we think. It’s just sucking the joy out of the thread. JMO though

….i just can’t get Biff out of my mind….lol

Recent history. Because of crap coaching hires. Why are those same standards acceptable at other school? Why because coach knight is gone are those standards out of the question? Why has every coach besides sampson not been successful elsewhere? Crean had decent recruiting at Georgia Why did he suck? What coach have we hired post knight can you point to and say that guy has it? Sampson and that's it. We need a winner and the results will follow. 2 of our hires were pathetic imo. Davis was simply not ready and Woodson simply had no experience. Crean and Archie were college coaches who had some success but were gambles. Hire a good coach and people may be surprised iu can actually get good results and have expectations

So, I looked at the 4th year records of a mix of coaches. All-timers. Recent tournament winners. And for giggles, Bruce Pearl.

A few one the number of games. Didn’t take the time to look at the other criteria. Not many who even made the 25 win benchmark. All of these are at their last, most prominent positions.

John Wooden 19-12

Dean Smith 15-9

Coach K. 24-10

Roy Williams. 21-7

Bill Self. 33-5

Jim Boeheim. 26-4

Scott Drew. 15-16

Tom Izzo. 33-5

John Thompson. 21-7

John Bielein  21-14

Jay Wright. 24-8

Dan Hurley. 23-10

Lute Olson. 18-12

Mark Few. 24-9

Bruce Pearl. UT. 21-13. Auburn  26-8

John Calipari  21-12

Denny Crum  28-3, but almost needs to be an asterisk because Louisville was in the Missouri Valley Conference

So, counting Pearl at Auburn, only 5 guys won 25 games in their 4th year. Add RMK and you have 6.

Sure there are more but just trying to remember the more prominent names. The criteria is too exclusive that Hornsby is expecting

It’s about Painter and Shrews going after recruits tonight and Woodson doing nothing about it

Phew. Not surprised Woodson isn’t there. Pretty much expected anymore.

They're just making fun of Woody for not going to watch Sisely tonight while Shrews and Painter made the drive.

I figured that was the case. But why not just say that? Feels attention-seeking, although I generally like those guys
