It is astounding that one former player from 50 years ago is bigger and more important than an entire university and the millions of other alums and fans.

I don't listen to every podcast the Hysterics do but today's mentioned having Jerry Yeagley on (had Sr on recently and am not sure if him again or Jr) so I had on during the drive in today.  I admittingly usually skip to when the guest comes on but noticed they were talking about the PSU loss so I kept listening to their intro.  Nothing earth shattering but it was notable that they have soured on the season and also made several comments about it falling on Woody.  These guys get access to a lot of players, have an NIL collective, run several events for fans to participate in a camp or watch the team play and kind of need that access to the program to continue in order to do what they do. 

Among their comments were:

• We are not getting the ROI
• The sum is not as good as the parts (Ware, Malik having pretty good years and MM getting there too).
• Even though we finished second last year we were only 12-8.  2 games go the other way and we are a .500 team so even that may not have been as good as we thought
• Notable people (thinking he was alluding to donors and admin) have taken notice
  • I almost wonder if he got some nudge from the AD office to mention this but no idea
• Mentioned how we are further from Woody's goals of BT and NCAA titles now than any time back to 2017 

The Hysterics have had Woody, Walsh, YA, Hulls, on the podcast as well as most of the players.  They kind of need to be wary of biting the hand that feeds you (even though i know they help provide NIL $) but still did not ignore the obvious and were willing to criticize the staff.  I did not get to finish it yet so maybe they close the intro by reverting back and supporting Woody but the part I heard was interesting considering their position.

Sorry been away for a few days, my wife had surgery. She did let me go to the game on Saturday, but then I got in trouble for drinking way too much after watching the game and staying out too late. 

But coming into work this morning I did see soft touch moving trucks at Assembly Hall. So I think they're cleaning everything out so it will be empty by the team gets back from Columbus.

People are not happy, fans, boosters, Players, coaches, administrators, trustees. Not sure if anything will happen but I will say Dolson's inbox has probably reached capacity.  He is personally answering emails so he knows people are not happy. If we only win a game or two the rest of the season things will be interesting.

Can you elaborate on the moving trucks? Is this normal? Why would they be cleaning everything out/making it empty by the time the team gets back (in-season)?

Yes; moving trucks are normal. It's a Tuesday thing.

Sorry should have put DWS on that. There are a lot of things that need to happen for Woodson to not be back next season. I'm still hoping retirement is an option

After watching that craptastic performance drinking too much is completely understandable.

I'm not opposed to letting CMW go. For me, it was the Wisconsin game. It was embarrassing. I pretty much stopped watching them this year. 

However, I do think this team just isn't good and anyone with an open mind will admit to that. They are young and I don't think there's a player on the team that should declare for the draft and should probably play another year at the college level to up their stock. Next year, will be a much more improved team if the core stays together. And letting CMW go will more than likely split that group up. It's kind of a double edged sword.

So in other words, we will win 3 more games, and Woody gets another year because we can't hurt anyone's feelings.  May to UL and Schwerz to OSU.  Next season is a disaster, Woody gets fired, and we kick off the Michael Lewis era.  Did I miss anything?

Hoosier Hysterics should be praying every day that Woodson stays at IU in perpetuity. Any serious coach would keep those clowns a thousand miles away from any players/recruits.
