Thank you and please do.

I’ll share another story relevant to some of your expertise.

My son, again, was waiting tables and had an older couple in Celtics gear, it was this summer a couple days after the Celtics won the title. He says to them you must be happy and the couple said yes, especially since their son is the GM (which is funny as he is actually the President).  My son tells them he is a big IU fan and that we are always hoping Brad would coach IU.

His Dad says, “us too!  But he would never do that to Butler”

It is a Dad talking, who knows, and things obviously can always change, but I always found it interesting that he said that.

One can dream…

Probably the most accurate inside information posted in this thread.

Now back to tracking flights…

(I’ve really come to love coach search season)

Yes he still think he is in the NBA  and anyone ask him how Louisville  is doing okay with a new coach and all new team ?
It goes beyond ego with woodson. There is something mentally off. His inability to see reality or accept and sort of criticism makes me think he has other issues. He is just in LA LA Land

If and when it happens, I'll get excited. Otherwise, I'll believe it when he signs the contract and is in Bloomington.

Yep. If it happens, I wouldn't hate it... but not gonna ride that roller coaster again...

Hahaha so true.

Years of heartache and soul crushing poor decisions from our beloved Hoosiers makes a 7 year contract with Michael Lewis or a lifetime contract with Randy Wittman all seem like realistic expectations.

He still thinks it's early in the season. I got 7 new players man. We are trying to figure it out just like everyone else. He seriously must think they play 82 games.

It like what Painter said in the InsideTheHall tweet, and it could be directed at Woodson, lol:   “"We start practicing in June. And you "We start practicing in June. And you look at it and February is around the corner. February is Saturday. So if you ain’t got it figured out now, you don’t know what you’re doing. If we get in a game and call something and somebody doesn’t know what they’re doing, it’s like, ****, I shouldn’t be coaching. at it and February is around the corner. February is Saturday. We are talking about Braden Smith, right? I thought he was going to suck without Edey?

I thought he would statistically take a step back, at least, without his safety blanket. But he took another step up in the offseason. 9 assists with that crew is crazy. Probably the mvp of the conference, if not the best overall player.

Oh I am…that’s the only fun I’ll have over the next two months: taunting Purdue fans and anyone who will listen about our upcoming Stevens led dynasty. Then we can just pretend it never happened when Buzz Williams is announced as coach.

I was asked to provide more details about the planes and what I know, so I figured I would post it here.  I somehow have found about 5 different planes that IU has used, is using, may use, ect.  Now I have conflicting details on which plane belongs to who, but have sorted out the mainly it is Ned Pfau and Fuzzy that either own or lease a plane, that IU has been using.  Appears they are tight with a guy that owns or operates the Clark Regional airport, so they have access to alot of different planes from there.  There have been various flights back and forth between Boca Raton (Ned's Place in FL) to either Clark Regional (Ned's place here) and then to Bloomington.  We had tracked 1 of these planes going down to pick up Cignetti shortly after he was hired.  So, where it got interesting is shortly after Christmas 1-3 of these planes had activity to Boston plus other surrounding areas.  I was going to try and copy all of this flight data into excel to see if I can make sense of any of it.  I am sure there are connections between some of these, but I am not sure it is worth my time.  I think everyone knows that Dolson is in contact with Stevens, I think the process of negotiating or offering is taking place.  Only thing I can prove is yes, we have had planes, involved with IU, making several trips to Florida, Boston, and Jeffersonville.  I think a lot of this is expected behavior with ultra wealthy people, but I don't think they are going to Boston to play golf in the winter.

PS.  NBA Trade Deadline is Feb 6th

So the last time IU came knocking on Brad Stevens door, he soon became the GM of the Celtics and we got Mike Woodson. The Celtics are for sale and we are knocking on the door again. What the hell‘s gonna happen is he gonna become the owner of the Celtics? Who are we gonna get Isaiah Thomas as our coach sounds like a freaking plan.

I supposed it could go like that!  I still think when the dust settles, it will be Dusty May
