It appears after the Purdue loss IU PR team made contact with the pods and used some Twitter accounts to help defend and spin the narrative. Likely seeing some extent of that on message boards too fwiw.

anyway, interesting to see.

I think everyone expects us to get boat-raced tomorrow so I’m not sure how much more sour our whipping will make the fanbase.

That'll work for some of the fanbase, but I'd imagine the vast majority won't have their opinion altered by PR spin. I'd hope not anyhow.

Saturday morning complaints:

  1. States that use a 30-second shot clock but won't implement a running clock for blowouts.
  2. States that have yet to implement any shot clock.
  3. Refs that spend more time worrying about shirt tails not being tucked in than they do on actual officiating.
  4. IU players who continually take long 2's but when I watch a multitude of HS games from a multitude of different states, those kids know where the 3-point line is and are usually well behind it.

Guess I haven't really noticed but it isn't a surprise.

Well,  sometimes he has to continue recruiting players that had already committed because they started making overtures about not playing at Purdue.

Looking at you, Kanon Catchings.

I'd say it's actually pretty normal behavior for a high energy recruiter who wants to continue to build relationships and stay visible in the public eye. You know, stuff that successful coaches do.

I did hear that Woodson actually went to a high school game earlier in the week, though. Someone must have poked him with a stick or something.

Painter was in attendance tonight for a player he's already signed.

If Woodson wasn't on the cusp of retirement, I'd tell him to take note, THAT is what a high energy recruiter looks like.

Based off some of his recent interviews, I’m not sure Woody knows who he has coming in until they show up on campus for summer workouts.

I hear Woody is clearing cap space to chase a big free agent.

This program is so stale. Scott Dolson completely missed on this hire and it was so easily predictable.

This hire was Quinn Buckner's hire and he's the one to blame.  It wasn't Dolson's choice.  FWIW, Buckner's term on the BOT expires in the summer of 2025.  He'll be 70, but I have no idea if there's any age limit and he'll have to step down.

Was trying to find something on the website for the board of trustees couldn't come up with anything.

Free throws! And threes! Iu basketball sucks at them and I hate it. Not sure this complaint thread is big enough for me to specify exactly how disappointed I am.

Man, and to think we were dancing in the streets when Patrick Shoulders finally left...
