Let’s face it. This program made the wrong turn in the road by essentially giving itself the death penalty in 2008 because we’re self-righteous. Hell, our school didn’t even allow us to finish the season with our coach when we had the taleny to win a title in his second year. We actually had a HOF coach on our sidelines who would’ve had a title or two under his belt by now at IU. Sampson coaches circles around Crean, Miller and Woodson.

100%. What’s funnier is everything Sampson did is 100% legal now. Coaches get away with much worst to this day. 
 

Crean was close but he was too much of an idiot in 2013 to outsmart a zone.

No serious program would've done what we did. We do things no serious program would do and wonder why we're in this spot.

Supposedly a top 5 top 10 Nil program and this is the roster you choose to put together?

Chris Beard winning, Fat, Strong @$$ offer Will Wade winning at McNeese and this is what we get from a “blue blood” program with a robust Nil package.

Woodson made the tournament twice with TJD carrying the entire team on his back. Never gave him the guards we need to be truly competitive. Now this?

Sleep it off, rinse and repeat. More bad basketball to come. It might get ugly.
