It’s crazy how in 3 games our enthusiasm/optimism has been squelched.

Auburn in Georgia is gonna be a tough as I thought it might be. Pearl doesn’t play. Thank goodness Kansas is home. But man..

Tomorrow could single handily change the trajectory of the perspective of our season or not. Big game. Their roster without Castle is good but shouldn’t be on paper that much better than ours…. But……

Gotta bad feeling….. that’s what Zona, Kansas, Miami, etc did to me. We didn’t even compete in those games. I’m not sure this team has the fortitude to fight back. I’m glad I get to find out.

It's about who you play and when. Those games you mentioned were brutal. But we beat Purdue twice and they were a top 5 team most of the year. I'm not too worried about this one in November. Nobody will be the same team 2 or 3 months from now. I want to win now, but I want to win more later.

The games Wayne mentioned, I felt like we were way less athletic than each of those teams and it showed. Purdue really had no advantage over us athletically. Did we get more athletic in the offseason? I guess we'll find out.

Can’t agree with saying their roster without Castle isn’t much better than ours, especially if Johnson is out.

Xavier Johnson travelled with the team to NYC.  He participated in a light practice on Saturday.

No announcement yet on his gametime appearance.

Is Coach Woodson going to limit the platoon-type substitution pattern?  Is X going to start and play well?  Can Ware stop UConn's backup center from last year?  Will anyone on either team hit a decent number of threes?  Can UConn make up for missing their starting PG?

Why did UConn run up the scores against bad teams this year?

Why didn't IU run up the scores against not quite so bad teams as played UConn this year?

Is Coach Woodson sandbagging UConn?

I don't think so.  But he isn't showing what he has up his sleeves.  I hope.

It is going to be telling.  And I think it will be closer than most seem to think.

I am seriously thinking of changing my prediction to an IU win.  If Xavier is moving well in warmups and Woody says he is starting...why the heck not go for it?  GO IU!!!

We pretty much were last year. From Arizona to Miami we had trouble competing with pacey teams that shoot and put a bunch of points up.

I’m not convinced that’s Uconn, though. Last year Uconn finished pretty similar to how they started—really strong. They suffered a major mid season slump in conference play that took them off everybody’s radar.

Train to New York Penn Station (direct access into MSG) has a very healthy amount of IU fans on it. Imagine the next hour's train, which gets in right as the doors open, will have a fair bit more. IU fans tend to show up pretty well at the Garden from what I've seen. Let's shock the world Hoosiers!!!

IU fans travel, that has never changed. Personally been to too many games where IU fans dwarf the competition 5/1 and we lose

X is listed as questionable on the B1G availability report.

Just saw that myself.

Now I'm seeking a report from MSG on whether he is starting and whether he is moving well.
