I hadn't heard of the Stephen Jackson one or the Trevion Williams one either.

Trevion Willliams had a similar experience when asked to leave McDonald's and he refused after ordering a basket of fries.

Not a great look to the program. While it could be way worse, it’s the second arrest under Woodson’s leadership. The athletic department is already looking like a joke with what’s occurring at Memorial Stadium. Woodson needs to get his program under control. This type of situation is controllable.

I’m not throwing stones at MM, because everyone has their version of the story. But it could be as simple as he is just like any other kid in todays world and that is a sense of entitlement (including my own kids with this statement). When he was told no by Taco Bell employees maybe that was one of the few times he’s heard that since arriving to Bloomington? Not saying it is true! Just simply a thought.

Nothing to see here, let’s move on. Hope he learns from this as the young man has a bright future.

Certainly would like to know what actually happened.  He did eventually move to another parking lot.  Kind of a smarta$$ move but technically in compliance.

Okay…I’ll bite.

Pray tell Trish; what steps would you have previously taken to control this?

Well being around a top program in the country I can assure you there are rules, standards, and direct communication to the players to NOT put yourself in a position to fail on the biggest weekend of the year on campus. Not to mention when you’re hosting various recruits this weekend with their parents present.

Not exactly a great look when the coaching staff is saying goodbye to parents and players today when a player was just arrested a few hours ago.

But I understand Indiana Basketball isn’t exactly Elite anymore so maybe so expectations aren’t there anymore ;)

Are these serious offenses? No. But nonetheless it’s not a good look for a program trying to rebuild to be a household name. I don’t know Woodson’s expectations but I personally thought it would be a tighter ship after Xavier and Parker decided to impress all the girls on Walnut Street. Kids make silly mistakes, but seeing a program with arrests recently makes me raise some eyebrows no matter what the offense are. Just my opinion however.

So…he was cursing at Taco Bell employees and being a d*** and he wasn’t intoxicated…mmmm, would rather he been intoxicated bc at least that’s a quasi excuse to be unreasonable.

refusing to follow police direction to simply leave a parking lot? Had to bust out his window and drag him out?

He sounds like a punk. Honestly.
