I haven't read through this thread. Are we finally past getting mad at kids for storming the court/field in college athletics as a sports socirty? Its fun, and not like you get many chances to do it.

Everyone knew if we won they were going to storm. Iu needs to get back to where they storm on us when we lose a hard fought game. That's the goal.

Absolutely a great day.  They bent but they never broke.  So many times in years past this would have ended up a double digit loss.  Everybody contributed in some manner and no one was in minus minutes for the game.

TJD needs no further discussion 25p; 7r; 5b.  Played 39 min.

Trey Galloway 11p; 3s; 1t in 34 min. 

JHS 16p; 4a; 2s; 1t in 31 min.

Malik 8p 4r and maybe most importantly only 2 fouls in 20 min.

We shot 53% FG and 40% on 3s and had only 8 TOs.

Exactly.
So we had a 15 pt lead and then PU pounds it in to Frankenstein and the lead goes down, down — but we continued to respond, they didn’t get rattled, the fouling was in check, and they pulled it out.

That’s a team that’s mature and has composure when it matters.

Not gonna lie, storming the court after beating a school we’ve referred to as little brother for decades doesn’t really turn me on, particularly since we also beat them last year. But I’m old and I’ll get over it.

Not gonna lie, storming the court after beating a school we’ve referred to as little brother for decades doesn’t really turn me on, particularly since we also beat them last year. But I’m old and I’ll get over it.

I think it is different if the players joined in but they went straight to the locker room. Let the kids have their fun
