Imagine you’re right. Interesting deal. The kid has said a million times that he’s going to UNC, as recently as a couple of days ago, and yet no one seems to believe him.

Just playing devils advocate since I attended UK within the last 10 years (I got a scholarship I couldn’t turn down and was still nearly disowned):

The talent level on UK’s campus is absurd in that regard. Waves of 5 stars every year commit to wear the blue sundress and cowboy boots during tailgate season.

That kid’s a good, good player, but I’m in no way sorry IU’s out on him. Too much barking at guys on the floor. Too much bad body language. Really seems to be enjoying messing with Rutgers. Would take Fland over Harper every single day.

Zero zero info.. but I absolutely wouldn't be surprised, after extensive evaluations/communication, if our staff didn't just decide they prefer to work with Fland over Harper anyways. 

Maybe Harper told others he wasn't interested in IU. 

Maybe the more we got to know Fland vs Harper.. we chose Fland. Certainly possible.

Very few. Follows more IU players and coaches than any other school by A LOT!
