FWIW, the Kansas 247 insider just posted this in regards to Liam’s announcement date and it being between IU and Kansas: “It’s a few days after Passmore’s announcement. I’ll let you do the math there.”

Kansas  will likely get a commitment from Passmore, but more importantly the infractions will be announced related to the FBI investigation 6 years ago. Can’t imagine Liam committing to any school facing a postseason ban.

FYI, it sounds like the penalties are going to be light for KU or a slap on the wrist

Maybe so, to this point no other team has been penalized with a ban. Then again, none of the other schools involved had as many Level 1 infractions as Kansas did (five).

Whatever is announced, it is final: Kansas cannot appeal.

Ok, this just happened: sitting in Denver waiting for a connection and there’s a guy waiting near me wearing a KU hat. Decide to see if he’s a real fan, so I say, “Hey, congrats on getting Passmore.” Dude smiled, knew what I was talking about, and said, “Hell of an athlete.”  I said, “Yeah, he is. You’re not getting McNeeley, though.” He responded, “We never were.”
