TJD, Race, Logan, JG, Tamar, and X still haven't officially weighed in.

Even when TJD weighs in, it may be the frustrating but logical "getting a draft assessment before I decide" option.

My guess, my info, and listening to what others have to say, X, LD, TB are all back. I mean they have told the staff they are back.

Yes, we are taking over this roster. Let's decide, not sure what roles I will let some of you have but everyone is invited on the staff.

Like what you've done. One minor change is that the open scholarship spot is used on Rich Rolf. 6'7 sharpshooter who's teammates with Gabe Cupps, who could be a nice developmental piece.

Why is Duncomb coming back?

I like that he is but it’s a two way street, he has to want to come back and the coaches have to want him back. How on earth are both of those things aligned? He played never and walk ons played over him.

Because he is a freshman that was young for his grade and was behind 4 other front court options.   He was hurt some of the year and missed some because of his own doing.   Sounds like he and his people feel confident in the plan moving forward and sounds like the staff wanted him back.    Now if the staff goes out and gets a bunch of bigs in the portal then I would guess his plans change

I think what’s being referred to here is technically true: Childress played in the Northwestern game and Logan didn’t. But Childress came in and played on the wing alongside the starting bigs, so I don’t know that I agree he played over Duncomb; I can’t imagine playing TJD, Race, and Duncomb together

I agree, and plenty of top 100 fresh who don’t get much run turn into good players. But if he was going to stick around after a year like this it makes it even stranger that he didn’t redshirt like the staff suggested.

At the same time though, I was at that game and TJD was clearly gassed. A little surprising Duncomb didn't get in at least for a couple minutes.

Sure. That’s not a walk-on playing over LD, though, it’s CMW deciding that TJD on empty gives him a better chance to win.

Mr. Childress is on another site and he indicated some good news is coming. He also said that if TJD comes back, then Race is too. If you get one, you're going to get both.

If we're creating a roster I'd like to keep our 1 and 5 while upgrading our wings. A proven versatile stretch 4 that can defend on the perimeter while hitting ~40% from deep. A couple of wing players that can defend multiple positions, attack the paint, shoot 40+% from deep, and create their own shots.

Even if we don't upgrade our talent, I'm sure we'll dominate the off-season.  We'll slot more than a few of our players onto preseason All-Big 1.o teams. We'll get upset when the media doesn't agree, the season plays out and they don't prove themselves, and then get mad at the media for not seeing it our way. Ignore the evidence of the last few decades and get angry at the "haters."
