This will get dealt with quickly.  People on a free message board were wrong.  That’s it nothing more about it.   Griping and moaning about being played isnt going to go far.   Sucks but that’s it.    Dolson did what we all wanted and went after his number  1.   He declined so now he will move on and make the decision he feels is best for the program

Well son of a *****. The only thing that’s weird to me is why it took so long (a day or two) for this to come out. Let’s be honest his initial denial was very weak and open ended. With as much media and chatter this has gotten if he was 100% not leaving I would have thought he would have reiterated it sooner or someone would have dropped info like this sooner

I guess once again I fell for what people who said to be insiders like I did with Billy Donovan but no more.    I really thought this was going to happen but after hearing Stevens today it never was close to happening.  I think some of these guys are probably sitting back laughing at this fan base knowing we will believe anything that is positive.

I get everyone is upset but idk what you guys thought he would say. I doubt brad would have come out and say yes to Goodman’s question right before coaching a game for the Celtics.

If what we've seen over the past few minutes is true and he's staying in Boston, don't jump all over Chris and IUwins0708. 

They're just relaying best info they had. 

It appears Dolson put the full-court press on Brad -- and Ainge and the Celtics broke it. 

Again, if true -- we're all disappointed. No need to get snarky.

The great thing about our insiders is that they relay information that they get to the rest of us. For free. With little regard for their own butts. Not all info they get is going to be the gospel, but they are right a lot.

When I start seeing transfers announced and decommitments I will start panicking.  The players are kept in the loop more than we know.

If true (meaning 0708 is incorrect we need to wait) then we need to tip our hat to Dolson/Co because he did everything he could to get Stevens. I still have total faith that we will get a top coach (Beard or Drew). 
Dolson is committed to bringing us back to a top program, regardless if we get Stevens or not.

Hmm...that sounds like a very definite answer to me. If I heard this from other guys, I would've taken with a grain of salt, but Stevens is just not the type of guy to answer things one way and then to flip it to the other way.
