No offense intended but I think you have some wrong info on this one.

Idk man, dude has been pretty straight forward and honest. Also has some connections via the IUFB team so he may be telling us exactly what he knows. I appreciated him giving honest and forthright info a few hundred pages back.

Maybe. People at that level don’t just flat out tell you what is happening. So it’s a lot of interpretation and guessing.

You could be BS'ing all of us and if so shame on me but you've been the most reasonable and (seemingly) brutally honest person with sources on this. Only question I have is what constitutes a "big name" from your perspective because that's incredibly subjective? Is McDermott a big name? Schertz? You get my point.

If Norm is right it would lead me to believe it's a Huss, Schertz or McCollum. Those all are or have the potential to be available when we inevitably lose in conference tournament. I still don't see Dolson announcing anyone until the season is done, done though.

Do you really believe Dolson would fire a coach only to bring in (checks clipboard ) Schertz?? Really?

I’ve got one name. Brad. He’s coming home

Did @normandale97 say to think of it like college football bowl season? Meaning the coaches team could make it to the tourney, but the coach peaces out before to take the IU job, or the coach is announced, but will remain with his currwnt team through the tourney.

I'm not saying this is the case, just that I thought that's something the poster mentioned as a possibility.

Yes he did. I find that hard to believe just because there is a lack of precedent. It always starts with the 1st one though.

And for the record I'm not taking this dude's word as the gospel truth. As far as I'm concerned everyone is an option unless they sign another deal or say no like May and Stevens.

My Dad (RIP was a retired Postmaster) oldest sister (retired clerk) both immensely proud of their service..people who crap on the USPS have no clue how much these workers give to their communities in countless ways.

ok back to Brad excitement... :)

My grandfather and both my uncle worked for the post office as well. My grandfather was retired when I was born but my uncle was still working use to deliver our mail.

Agree to disagree. Every time he's mentioned as a possible candidate in an article it gets mentioned. You're in denial if you think it wouldn't get mentioned in the very, very, very unlikely case that he gets hired so if they don't know about it now, they will.

You're also wrong about how many would overlook domestic violence.

But he won't be hired so we won't find out.

It's mentioned but that's it.  Just like his hire at ole Miss, he was mentioned and now it's over with.  Very view people actually know he was involved in something, even fewer know he was arrested and charged.  Even fewer know the charges were dropped, and very very few have actually read the police report.  Sanctimonious.  He's not some monster wife beater you all want to make him out to be.

First of all, I'd be really surprised if it's Beard... it turns out to be so, the media will be talking about his past and his ongoing alcohol abuse non-stop... so regardless of how informed the fanbase is, the news, the story, the information will be plastered everywhere...

It's one thing when the coach of Texas has strong DV allegations and even loses his job over it... but it's quite another when it's the coach at your school.

How many times has he been arrested for drinking or had articles written about him for drinking?  You all forget that internet sports message boards account for a few % of the fanbase and not everything you read on them is true.
