  1. We can deal in hypotheticals all we want…but he doesn’t give NIL money to IU.
  2. No, it wasn’t just for Indiana basketball. That’s not accurate. My original point…he has not given IU NIL money.
  3. I can’t tell you the reason why he’s not been a donor for IU basketball because I don’t know…just know that he doesn’t give NIL money.
  4. If people wanted that public they would say so. What I can tell you is the assumption that Cuban is involved in IU’s NIL game is false…other than the Campus Ink store…which is not exclusive to IU. So, people claiming anything other than that are either misinformed or flat out making things up.
  5. Just to clarify…this is 100% false. IU doesn’t get any NIL money from Cuban. Cuban had nothing to do with the Mgbako recruitment. Same goes for Ken Nunn.
  6. Pride and loyalty only go so far. I’ve left jobs for more money…as many on this board have. These players are making millions for the university. Do I love NIL and the transfer portal? No I don’t…but the players deserve to get paid.
  7. So, I’ve said this before and people did not want to believe it. The main thing that put IU over the top with Ware was the NIL. Ware was working with the same people as JHS…and JHS was able to confirm that IU delivered what was promised in terms of $. There are plenty of kids getting promised a certain amount and they are not receiving it. Our NIL game is on point for basketball.
  8. I’m sorry you don’t like facts. Anthony is one of the youngest players ever to get an MVP vote. It’s not a knock on Woodson. It’s facts.
  9. The Carmelo Anthony stuff is a little disingenuous. He was in Denver for 8 seasons before going to the Knicks and was already an NBA superstar. That had nothing to do with Woodson.
  10. There is confidence in Bloomington on this one. I guess we will find out soon enough.
  11. You can say it’s a false narrative…but JHS’s plan was always to be in college for 1 year. I don’t think he cares about the rankings.
  12. That's a big assumption though...how do any of us know he isn't starting and getting limited touches?
  13. My point is...I've seen several people here and other places using Woodson and JHS as an advantage for IU. That argument holds no weight with Self in the picture. He's had a player drafted almost every year and Kansas. When comparing Self and Woodson...there is no comparison. Self can say...watch the NBA playoffs and the current league MVP...watch Wiggins....Grimes...etc. IU might get MgBako but the reasoning above doesn't make any sense.
