If this was 4 years ago i would have wanted him over the coach they ended up hiring with 0 college basketball coaching experience before he was hired but this cycle no way.  Been out of coaching too long when IU will be in a position to get a sitting coach that has been coaching this whole time (minus the white whale) I would go with a mid major  coach over a coach that hasn’t coached in 4 + years

If you go by the theory that Pearl could just bring a bunch of his guys and recruits over, it’d have to be him. I might go with May second given his crazy turn around and I don’t think I would’ve said that a month ago. 
 

I doubt Beard would make it 5 years but I’ll give him a slight nod over Cronin. Crean bringing up the rear.

It’s important to distinguish between rumor & conjecture - there has been a lot of conjecture surrounding other candidates, but have there been rumors relative anyone other than BS?
