Now that's the first real interesting piece of Brad rumor in a while, I am guessing there is no way to verify that fact, but if true I would guess BS to IU is well and truly cooked (likely is anyways, but that could be coffin meeting nail).

Because the Beard discussion in this thread once the spaces from last night was over was derailing the thread and people were going back and forth which was dominating the thread whereas the Stevens discussion really doesn’t derail  the whole thread like the other was doing.   Sure there are some that think Stevens talk derails it at times but in the Mods view nothing at the point to warrant its own thread.   Now if it derailed it like the Beard talk was doing then we will talk  about it and go from there

I really hope TJO gets to be a part of the final discussion and evaluated as a final candidate.  Haven’t heard anything on him, but he absolutely should be approached, imo.

Here’s what I think. Reporters trusted by the AD know who the hire is—a small select number. And they’ve been asked to hold the story and just discuss other candidates until a set time—probably once senior day is done and the lights turned out in the Hall on Saturday. No more home games, no need to protect Woodson’s ego after that point. With the terrible risk of sounding like isaacTor, I guess—based on nothing but reading between the lines— that around 8 Saturday night Bozich and a handful of guys that are trusted in the AD will simultaneously start breaking stories about rumors of who this “veteran” coach is. I might be totally wrong, but I think “we got him.” Who else could this veteran guy be? 

Why would Dolson tell a reporter then tell them to keep it quiet? That just doesn't make sense. Instead of telling the reporter who it is, he could tell them that he'll let them know first so they can be the one to break it. Much less risk of it accidentally being shared that way.

Monrovia boy here born and raised. My Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother are Buried about 50 yards away from Branch. Beautiful little Cemetery that sits up on a hill in scenic Hall, Indiana . Always thought they should add a little bit more of a small Monument, Statue or something for him.

He isn’t the sexiest name for many, but I think he wins the most out of this cycle in the right spot.  I also think the way his teams play is sustainable in the B1G.  Not the easiest conference to transition to.

I think the quid pro quo was understood. Keep it quiet, but be first to break. Particularly with Stevens, that first article would go mega viral instantly (likely several would given the magnitude of news like that, but its always good to be first lol).
