I’m not a big fan of Kent’s and haven’t watched the video. Is he saying that IU had signed their guy or just has their guy?

He's heard "from a donor through a source that I absolutely trust ... they got their guy. Obviously they haven't told anyone, but that's the way you do these things ... you don't fire somebody without having a very good idea of who you're gonna hire as a replacement"

Yeah I need more than that.

Let's don't get too excited until the coach is announced. I'd hate to see some of you step off the cliff because it isn't who you thought it was.

There are very few coaches that would make me that disappointed. Whoever it is, will be well vetted and put in position to win big.

Yep. It's literally stevens or bust. Would be a awesome week to bear purdue and get stevens

Pitino Sr could come here for 4 years and with our NIL possibly win a natty in that time frame. He’s that good

This is an interesting point. A lot of reasons to see why he wouldn't come. However I've been watching the Vice program about his time he's had at St. John's. Due to the work he's had to do to get facilities up to speed, and all of the extras he's had to do, that it's been his least enjoyable 2 years and he hasn't had time to embrace the fanbase.

If that was the direction we went and he hung #6, I'm sure his opinion would hold weight in terms of our next hire. It should hold weight now and perhaps it does.

At this point if IU “has got their guy” to me, that would mean it’s one of only two people who will be the next coach.

Now I don’t necessarily trust Coyle, but if he’s right and if Zeller is out scouting for next year, there are only two logical options.

If we truly already have our guy I am guessing Bennett.

Stu I need you to say the two names. I have been very aware that you have refused to interact, quote, or respond with any message that mentions a certain someone ;)
