Based on the survey, we evidently want more than winning out of our next coach. I would accept either of these 2 coaches, but neither are in my top 3 which are Stevens, May, and Bennett.  Any guess as to who they are without peaking at the survey? 

Yes-without peeking I am 100 percent sure you are referring to Cronin and Beard.

Cronin is kind of a jerk (yet I would accept him), and Beard may be an alcoholic that does bad things when he drinks too much. I would say he’d be a terrible choice.

I would like to believe but it seems the day (2 weeks, Mar 1st then end of BTT) we will know keeps sliding back. Would love to have been on the AAU call or to know that we indeed scheduled games because we have our guy. But the changing date.

Unless Dolson knows for sure Stevens is coming I start ramping up my efforts for May. Can’t let second choice get away. Especially since I have May right there with Stevens.

Jerry’s timing has been consistent — after the regular season, broadly. Isaac seems like he may actually have connection(s) based on the March ‘24 post, among others, but his timing post has always been an outlier.

Isaac is a complete and total troll IMO and the "March 2 3pm Foxsports" beyond confirms that for me. Personally put zero stock in him. Has helped rack up the page count though, I'll give him that. Unreal pace in this thread

Coach 2 who only received 8% yes votes is Cronin.  Coach 1 is not Beard.

Why do people think beard has been to a billion tournaments. I said this the other day, his coaching record is good, not great.it certainly doesn’t warrant the weird hero worship he gets.  Beard has coached 5 tourney teams. Covid year he probably would have gotten in, and we’ll never know one because he got fired before the conference season started. If you don’t throw out the 30-5 at his one season at Little Rock and 7-1 before he got fired he’s basically a .680 head coach. .610 in conference. Throw out the one 30-5 year at Little Rock in conference and it’s .530 at the P5 level. 

For some reason everyone just assumes because of back to back EE with one FF at Texas Tech 7 years ago he’s been killing it his whole career and has a decade or more of experience.
