Getting booed by Michigan fans is less than a non factor and only one time per year at home games or on a neutral floor and will fade in a few years to a few spontaneous boos to what are you even booing about.

Agree. Don’t read my post as a defense of Woody… people are coloring Cronin’s calling out fans (in a reasonable situation to do so) based on Woody’s true fan remarks.

Maybe Brad is just banking on the futility of IU administration when it comes to managing basketball and knows he can evaluate his life at the time and do this every 3-4 years in perpetuity lol

I'm told his daughter is more likely to go to Notre Dame than come to IU. But she is ok living in Indiana.

Same reason SEC motto is “you ain’t cheating if you ain’t trying”. They all did/do it with one exception Robert Montgomery Knight. Coach K was a big cheater his players were all paid. We know about the Adidas scandal or worse UNC/Kansas academic scandal. I guess my point looking in hindsight is we probably should have slapped Sampsons wrist, kept him, and won a couple more titles. But the reason we lose now, odds are will continue to lose, are these holier than thou fans/alumni and mentality that won’t consider or hire a coach like Beard.

If this is a movie then Dusty May coming back home to IU to lead the program is the best story even if Brad was to come to IU.   The Journey story next year for May if he becomes IUs coach will be epic.   For me it’s May until told otherwise.  If he gets through the season without an extension the story is too good for him not to come back

I expect a Tweet from Goodman, Davis, etc any day now confirming that Dusty has signed a new deal with UM with a $15-20M buyout.  It’s coming.
