While I agree that taking personal shots at someone's married life should be out of bounds, telling someone to touch grass through a message board post after midnight is about as lame of a comeback as one could make.

If you are talking about just his experience in power 5, he is 73-63.  Take away his first season in power 5 (at a time when coaches did have to establish their system since there wasn't NIL) and he's 67-51.

Outside of 18 games, his power 5 record has been at Texas Tech and Ole Miss.  Those kind of winning percentages are pretty damn good at those schools.

I don't understand why some people care so much about others believing the Stevens rumors. 

If you don't like the Stevens talk here, or the faith people put in some of the board insiders, there are plenty of other places you can go to talk about Hoosier sports. HSN, for instance, isn't nearly as rumor laden. Just go elsewhere if you don't like the vibes here.

But to just stick around here in order to repeatedly laugh and yell at the posters doesn't make you cool, sophisticated, or interesting. Just tiresome.

Here’s the thing. It’s a message board. Everyone knows they are filled with the most diehard of fans and rumors and speculation are the makeup of this type of medium. It’s also semi limited so opinions on players and coaches have some insulation.

 

If Tyme/AH wants to be mad at anyone he can be mad at himself and the IUAlliance Twitter burner army that all turned their images to brad Stevens inspired picture and incessantly posted Brad. Stevens. For 3 straight days on the biggest platform on the planet.

 

Be mad at them if you have to be mad at someone. This includes Tyme/AH himself.

 

But, who cares really. It’s fans having fun that maybe it can be Brad Stevens. Each person can choose to believe it as much as they want.

 

When the coaches and players finally start doing their job and winning at a high level people will be less inclined to believe in “fairytales” to stay connected to one of their biggest passions.

Hi all!

I know I’m new and I’m fraud watch and reasonably so. Just wanted to say that from my position nothing I ever said was false. Everything has gone radio silent on my end, and none of this makes any sense. Brad had agreed to everything, that is true, and then that post comes out. I don’t understand it, I can’t explain it, and it almost doesn’t feel right. 
 

im not saying this is what happened at all because frankly i have no clue, but nick saban said he’s not going to Alabama 13 days before Alabama announced him as the next coach. Is the same thing happening here, probably not, but call me delusional I hope so.

I know you all think im full of it and that’s ok, I probably would too, but those are my thoughts.

As someone who doesn't know any insiders and is skeptical of the Stevens stuff (not because I don’t believe what people are hearing but because I’m Charlie Brown kicking the football) but it’s possible that the heat got turned up too much, Dolson told everyone to STFU, Stevens issued his non-denial denial, and things progress with the heat turned down.

Again, I don’t now, nor have I ever thought we would likely get Stevens. So this isn’t some hopium from someone wishcasting.
