It's 100% BS lol

My issue is that our guys have looked great over the past several years, but we've not seen positive results.  When Nebraska can push you around with a bunch of skinny guys (including a couple with beer guts), maybe it's time to refocus more of the summer training hours on fundamentals.

On Goode, not if he is currently not doing arm days.  Could be the reason he started off so slow (like the whole team did) until they caught up their new bodies and strengths.  Not saying this as fact, just giving my personal opinion on the possible explanation.

Also, maybe Archie hired a similar style S&C coach at Rhode Island?

So a lot of conjecture to get to your conclusion? Also, Goode is doing the lifts that others on the team are doing as prescribed by the strength coach. It's not like he would not do "arm days" or lifts like he was just going to ignore the strength coach. Big time D1 athletics is far from high school with ancillary training.

You  must live in a completely different time dimension.  You just posted your comment on page 1010 and we're now up to page 1014.

Mine says 1004 right now

Someone on the Stevens side mentioned Austin Ainge but he is the assistant GM so he might move up when Brad leaves.
One our side Jordy would be a good one if he is interested. I really have no idea. I just think this was something asked for and Scott is following through

What about big handsome, Mr Zeller

Malik, TJD, JHS, Rice, MM and others have had massive transformations of their bodies. I don't really see us getting pushed around a lot.... we're lazy on the glass, though, I'm certain of that.

But wouldn't that mean Archie Miller's teams would improve their shooting if there was a poor shooting correlation to Cliff Marshall? It should mean a shooter like Luke Goode also regresses but he's having probably his best shooting season.

Archie's teams were never good shooting teams, neither are Woodson's sans Goode. Is Cliff the head trainer during all these years? yes. Could there be some correlation between the poor shooting and Cliff's workout regiment? Yes. Will we ever truly no? Probably not.

Love him but for some reason he's still on the Rockets roster even though he hasn't played due to personal reasons all season

I wonder if Dolson plan is to sing the above song to him everyday until Stevens signs on the dotted line?  Never know could work.

It’s a banger. Great use of AI lol

Maybe it's the basketball coaches in charge of coaching shooting that are the problem. Crean's teams shot it very well usually and there were still a lot of the same comments that these guys are getting to muscular and it's causing a bunch of injuries. Now the SC is also being blamed for guys that aren't good shooters missing shots.

Why wouldn't an NBA GM/Executive (just won an NBA title) just want to do it himself? I mean wouldn't he feel more confident in himself than someone else?

If adding a GM role helps get Stevens then you add a GM role.

IIRC some football programs already do so it's probably just a matter of time for basketball anyway.

Certainly. I would agree that coaching has a lot to do with it. After all, the buck stops with them.
