I'm very much looking forward to all the swimming my family and I will do in the pool we buy with the fat paycheck I'll get from IU. It gets cold in Indiana but better than the US northeast, that's for sure.

I'm getting it added to my contract that the chairs won't be bolted down so maybe I'll one day throw one, too.

IsaacTor had ONE post on this board before today, and it came on 3/6/24, at 3:17 p.m. It was announced around 7 p.m. that night that Woodson was getting another year.

There’s no way as a GM they are paying him that much. That would

be triple his coaching salary. I’d be surprised if he got much of a raise to take over for Ainge. He’s probably in the 5mil a year ballpark.

He knows a lot of people.  Has Leary, Bozich,  Mike Decourcy, etc on his show all the time.  Has had Dusty on before.  He knows a ton of people.

And given how ridiculous NBA salaries have gotten I believe him.

$11.5M/yr is a bit hard to believe.  That would make Brad perhaps the highest paid exec in the NBA.  Below are some links with what other execs make.  All of them, including names like Pat Riley, are less than $11.5M/yr.

Maybe Brad does make that much… it would just be surprising.  He made $4M/yr when he was the coach and tripling that to be GM doesn’t really make sense.
