Thought he did well given the circumstances. Hoping Pitt opens, too, though Sean Miller might be angling for that one. Maybe they prefer the cleaner option? Chris007 1
HoosierTrav Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 I’d be shocked if Archie wanted to stay in the B1G (Penn St.) considering how it’s absolutely railed him the last 4 years. As long as he’s gone, I’m good. Meanwhile....... this photo has brought me to new iubb related lows. Indiana8585, JaybobHoosier, ALASKA HOOSIER and 3 others 4 1 1

DLG3 Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 But if we get our Home run if it be Stevens or one of these college guys, the money is raised to buy him out & move on. Chris, I think you had mentioned that the Stevens camp was at least listening this time? Not getting my hopes up, but that at least is more encouraging than last time. Have you heard anything else on that front? Thanks for the info you share! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app lillurk, JaybobHoosier and thebigweave 3

So potentially very good news it Pitt opens up. Also if the plan is “move on for willing top tier candidate,” and Dolson and Archie are on the same page, as Dolson said, you’d think it might motivate Archie to move for the right gig, since that probably looks better than being replaced. Maybe not.

IUc2016 Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 I don’t see Archie moving on. He will either be fired or the coach next year. I am leaning towards the latter, hope I am wrong. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners lillurk 1
Popular Post Banksyrules Posted March 13, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 13, 2021 Ok first off I don’t want to pretend I’m like a source guy or anything so if this is faulty my apologies..... but I heard from my friend (who works in the SEC conference) that Archie’s job is indeed in jeopardy because someone called about Alabama’s head coach. That’s all I know and I won’t answer pms about it because that’s all I know! Gaaaaaawd if you take this out of proportions so help me........ 8bucks, MemphisHoosier, rcbowla and 11 others 13 1

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app It was described to me as last time we knocked on the door and no on answered. This time we knocked, not only was it answered but they invited us in. Doesn’t mean he’s our next coach. With the season he’s having, it’s worth his time to listen. He could come back to coaching 36 games a season instead of 82 and make the same amount of money.
