That also was not a very good Plan B…jeez

Someone should look back and see how the consensus was for him prior to the hire. I felt like many thought it was a good option given some of the other options. Now seeing how he has done at Butler probably alters some of that enthusiasm now.

If Brownwell is hired will people cut bait? or if you cut bait with Woody will you stay away? or will you give him a chance to prove you wrong on the court?

Oh no, I’ll give him the same chances I give every coach. And when he sucks, I’ll continue to watch.

But I am going to complain about it in the Fire Brad Bronswell thread.

If he had been 100% healthy it would have been a completely different discussion.  But he was not even close and everyone in the world knew it.  Everyone except the Indiana administration as always.

Ya'll think billy D ever found his house with horse stables in chicago?

Getting Donovan would have a very similar impact that Stevens would have. IU's relevancy and credibility would skyrocket with either.

Wonder if any houses with a horse barn have sold recently

Donovan won multiple national championships. I would say coaching wise he's above Stevens.

But Stevens is young and would fire up the fan base like Noone could.

Well yeah I ever remember thinking was that he had some real major health issues and would probably never coach again.

What I remember thinking is that he had some major health issues and would probably most likely never coach again so I didn’t even think it was a consideration given all the other options.

It used to be a no-no, but I’ve been told there are exceptions to that “rule”. I believe the period is outside of the quotation marks when the quote captures a phrase. My grammar post was directed toward 007 Chris as a joke, and he seemed to receive it as such. I realize why so many attacked me over it, however.

Probably because you have gone after others for their grammar in the past and not as a joke. It's par for the course with you.

Periods almost always go inside the quotation marks in the US.

I think similar to Indiana the last four years, it would be more of a check the score after the game ends instead of watching it live type of situation.

I just don’t see why you fire Woodson to hire a guy 90% of this board hasn’t heard of.

Shoot for the first two weeks I couldn’t even spell his name right and I still don’t 50% of the time.
