Anyway, everything I have posted that I have heard today I could name 6 or 7 other people on here who have heard it too. I won't so they don't take the heat I do but they send me their rumors. Yes, it could be the echo chamber of IU but I know I don't have the same sources as RTZ and a few others. 

So yes we could be wrong but there is a reason we think what we do. I owned it 4 years ago, just like I will again. I have even said I don't believe it fully myself. 

We appreciate you Chris. Hope my posting contervailing thoughts isn't taken as anything other than engaging in the dialogue.

The vast majority here would rather have people post what they hear than not post at all. Haters are going to hate no matter what.

Personally I could not care less who is 'wrong' and who is 'right' - I feel like most parties (some are obvious trolls) have given the information they've heard as honestly as they could (hard not to cross the line of compromising a friend). That's why I'm here - give me all of it! If I was stupid enough to bet my mortgage or be so emotionally invested that the outcome would destroy me - maybe that person isn't mature enough to be on the internet.

This is a rollercoaster for sure but it's not one without an end - while it's fun to speculate I have absolutely 0 influence on the final decision, so I choose to have fun with the speculation and possible choices. Or as RMK said to Connie Chung....

I love it when people share but if you're going to call me and my friends foolish then I'm going to have a problem. I'm here almost daily I don't just show up during searches.

I hope he doesn't take too many ideas from what Shrewsberry is running at Notre Dame because they still look terrible and completely outclassed ha.

I might be in the minority, but I don’t mind a rebuild with a new coach as long as there is progress and sustainability. With Woody and Archie, writing was on the wall after 3 years. I’m open to any coach that warrants being hired and then builds a competent program that has continued success.
