IMO, he makes more sense than a guy we lost that we were recruiting hard in Andrew Ledlum.  I think White has a better chance of being an outside threat than Ledlum does -- after three years, Ledlum's has shown he's a 30% perimeter shooter.  White only shot 27% from deep last year but I think that's too limited of a sample space to and he shot well enough from deep in high school to warrant a belief that he'll be better than that.  27th rated prospect on On3 right now and 6th highest remaining uncommitted portal player.

Taran Armsttrong, 6'5" point guard from Cal Baptist and 3rd ranked transfer recruit in the 247 portal ratings, has picked up a crystal ball from 247's Travis Branham to turn pro instead of transferring.

Collin Moore, Georgia State, enters the portal.  Had injuries the past couple of seasons before playing the final 13 games of this year.  Averaged 14.2 ppg and shot 48% overall and 36% from three.

Kyron Gibson, UT Arlington.  6’3” guard.  Freshman.  11.2 ppg and 3.9 assists.  36% from three

Of course he is. Seems to me Woody picked a bad time to have a knee surgery. I never heard or saw any pictures of him out this weekend looking at high school recruits either.

His stats don't say pro. Haven't watched any film on him though.

He's from Australia, so could be he's looking to play pro outside the US.

I thought he had already committed to Alabama so he had probably also signed with them. That means the coach can talk about him by name.

It was just a funny way that Oats said it ….we are ‘no longer recruiting’ Walton makes it sound like the recruitment process was still in the process.  But Oats isn’t exactly known for making sensible statements on situations.
