I want everyone back who wants back and will buy in to the new coach.  I like guys who show want to be at IU enough to bust their @$$ for a coach that didn't recruit them.

Seems like a lot of guys on the team picked Indiana for Indiana and not (only) for Archie. I’m sure there will be some transfers but I doubt the entire roster will be gutted regardless of what happens.

Well I’m at a loss, I really wanted Archie to succeed, a young upcoming coach with a decent record at Dayton sounded really good at first. After this season, apathy! I have watched every game this year and I just don’t know what to say! I definitely don’t agree with booing the players, that’s not right! But enough is enough it’s time to move on, I’m just not sure where the coaching search goes and that really worries me!

There is no basketball argument to keep Miller. None. Not even a bad one. Not even platitudes. What’s Dolson supposed to stand in front of the fan base and media and say? Dolson: I believe that, despite the many challenges, this program is headed in a positive direction. Media: Give a specific example of that positive direction. Dolson: crickets.  Dolson: I share Archie’s vision for Indiana basketball. Media: What specifically is that vision and what specific foundational steps are in place after 4 years? I watched the first half from the bar in Buffalo Wild Wings. Place was packed, and I was hearing equal cheering for both IU and Rutgers. I assumed it was Purdue fans. When I got up from the bar rail to leave at halftime it was a sea of red. All those Rutgers cheers were actually IU fans rooting for a loss so the hope of a new coach could happen. Then I hear the booing on TV when I get home. 
 

It’s clearly time to make a change. The atmosphere is too toxic to keep Archie. I wish he would have been spectacular, but he hasn’t even been average.

Wait. The IU media would actually question IU admin? Unless PurDoyle jumps into the presser like the Kool-Aid man, that ain't happening.

My thoughts that mean nothing..it's time for a change. I have no doubt Archie Miller is a good man. It just hasn't clicked at Indiana. To me, losing your last six games has to be the final straw. They were in the tournament before this collapse. You just can't keep him around. Scott Dolson makes good money to figure this out. You simply can't keep him for another year. My gut feeling..he is gone and it will be a mutual agreement. I have no clue who the next coach will be. But it needs to be a proven winner at a P5 conference. Archie Miller will be successful at a school like Dayton. I'd love to have him as the UE coach if it comes open. But this can't continue.

He’s right that we’ve got good guys, if he’s talking just good in general. They’re a bunch of nice kids. Problem is that while nice scores you points when your girlfriend takes you home to the parents, it doesn’t score you points on the basketball court.
