WayneFleekHoosier Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Can’t wait to see this guy compete! I have incredibly high hopes that I’ll keep tempered considering the layoff he’s had.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners MemphisHoosier, BGleas, lillurk and 4 others 7 Quote
Popular Post Old Friend Posted September 24, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 24, 2019 He's been doing things on his own for a while and this is terrific news. Indiana just got better and way deeper. My man Aarman Franklin and Hunter will be a dangerous 2-3 combo in years to come. We have depth, boys and girls. LOVE seeing this news and I expect Hunter to be a regular and significant contributor. Class of '66 Old Fart, lillurk, ElectricBoogaloo and 5 others 8 Quote
MemphisHoosier Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 After a year away from competitive action, I am not sure where he stands - but he would be perfect starting at the 3 if he can handle the minutes. JaybobHoosier 1 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app He should be able to handle the minutes. He's been working cardio just as much as the rest of the team. He has also been participating in drill sets like everyone else and playing pick-up ball. Yes not the same, but he will be in as good of shape as the rest. It's the development of his skills that would be what could hold him back, but they should still be more advanced that most true FR coming in. He will see plenty of min especially if he grasps the defense. Smith better show some serious improvement or he may see the short end of it. Quote
JaybobHoosier Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Very excited and can’t wait to see Hunter take the floor. I think he will also help push Justin Smith, Hunter is a competitor and will outwork his teammates. Love this!Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners thebigweave, MemphisHoosier, 323SGrant and 2 others 5 Quote
rcbowla Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 I look forward to seeing him on the floor much like I did last year. Difference from many on here however is that I am cautiously optimistic. I'm afraid too many here have unrealistic expectations of a kid that has yet to play a minute of college ball. I will hope for the best and expect the realistic. That said he was the Fr I was most excited for last year even over Romeo. That does not mean I expected him to be better than Romeo but that I figured he'd be at least a 2 year playerSent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk Quote

Popular Post Uspshoosier Posted September 25, 2019 Author Popular Post Posted September 25, 2019 Archie Miller said Jerome Hunter has not missed any workouts so far this preseason. #iubb"Jerome's best gift as a young player is his outside shooting."Miller mentions how Hunter will bring shooting to the table for #iubb this season.Miller asked for an update on Jerome Hunter, says he doesn't look like the "full-strength Jerome" but that was to be expected missing seven months or so. #iubbSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners lillurk, IUsafety, Hoosier1984 and 12 others 15 Quote
