But they would argue that almost all of their road games in the ACC are sell outs (90 plus percent) vs 23 percent of the games they aren't involved in. The game ratings on TV are generally up as well. And they do rev share in other sports. But whatever the point was, my point was they were not asking to ACC to advocate for them which was what was being said in this thread. They wanted them to not say anything. J34 1 Quote

Popular Post Hovadipo Posted December 12, 2025 Author Popular Post Posted December 12, 2025 The math isn’t hard. Miami makes it, all ACC members get a slice of the pie. Notre Dame makes it, Notre Dame keeps every penny. Assuming the ACC won’t do what they can to get a piece of that $20million+ payout is insane on their part. The Domers can get bent. jermhoosierfan, Home Jersey, Pagoda and 5 others 7 1 Quote
Home Jersey Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 Just thinking, the Big 10 made some really good coaching hires this cycle. Fitzgerald at MSU. Campbell at PSU. Chesney to UCLA. MSU and PSU will do well. UCLA feels like a tough place to succeed. We will see who Michigan hires. I'd think Jedd Fisch. That'd be pretty good considering the carousel is basically over. Can't wait to see what we do in the portal. RoadRage 1 Quote
AZ Hoosier Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 More info on the Moore incident... it's a really sad story... https://www.foxnews.com/sports/fired-michigan-coach-sherrone-moore-accused-stalking-victim-for-months-police-dispatch-audio Audio of a 911 dispatch call obtained by Fox News Digital details allegations of an alleged "domestic" assault in which police said the victim claimed "there's a male at the location and the house attacking her" and noted that the suspect had been "stalking her for months." The audio goes on to say that the suspect, "did put a knife to his throat and ran out." According to TMZ Sports, additional audio from dispatch included the suspect's wife saying he is suicidal due to "losing his job today." Moore’s name was not mentioned in the audio, but TMZ Sports reported that the call came from a Michigan football employee's address in Ann Arbor at the time Moore was arrested on Wednesday. Apparently he is not retiring and could seek other opportunities. Maybe he hates the PE deal Utah just got into? Maybe UM just got their guy (kinda doubt it but what other college jobs are even out there right now?) Hovadipo 1 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 Former Illinois football coach Mike White died Sunday. He was 89. Took the Illini to the Rose Bowl after the 1983 season with Jack Trudeau as QB. They got clocked, however, by UCLA -- whose quarterback was ... Rick Neuheisel. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 ODU's QB -- gave us trouble in our first game this season -- bailed on them after the regular season. Their backup just led them to a 24-10 win over South Florida in their bowl game. Carried 24 times for 107 yards. Took a helluva whack, too -- but came right back. Good for the Monarchs -- they're about 20 minutes from where I live. Tpolock, Class of '66 Old Fart, WayneFleekHoosier and 2 others 5 Quote
