And it amazes me the way the announcers were sort of suggesting that the step up in competition was a little problem for Jeanty. I thought he was great. The number of tackles he broke. The number of guys it took to get him on the ground and often they just couldn’t until the whistle blew. Competition wasn’t the issue for him, his o-line had just never seen that many NFL guys.

Honestly if the seed made any sense it would have probably been 3 big ten teams in the semis

Against Oregon, Jeanty ran 25 times for 192 yards and 3 touchdowns.  He's fine against any level of competition.

Penn State's D line is impressive, but it was also a great game plan by Allen, very aggressive D all game, lot of 2nd and 8s instead of 2nd and 2s! I think Penn State is going to be a tough out!

Offensive play calling has to improve and they need to stop with the stupid penalties. Those things kept BSU in the game too long.

They might be eliminated if more teams are added.

That being said, I’m ok with the byes if they are given to the 4 teams deemed to be the 4 best.

Bums me out that IU would have hosted Boise State, in the first round, if the bracket would have been set by ranking rather than automatic byes.

I’ve read unconfirmed reports that next year we will have a 12 team playoff with 8 SEC teams and 4 “others”.

The winner of the “others” competition will be deemed the 5th best team in the nation while the SEC automatically gets the championship trophy and the 1 through 4 final rankings.
