AZ Hoosier Posted January 2 Posted January 2 How did UGA get the ball? The kick didn't go 10 yards. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted January 2 Posted January 2 This is the most ridiculous ending to a game I think I've ever seen. RoadRage and hoosierdogg 2 Quote

TheWatShot Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I have no idea why Ole Miss didn't even try to recover that kick. As soon as they touched it, the game would have ended. It wouldn't have mattered if they came up with it or not. BannerVille 1 Quote

IU5355 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 With Georgia loosing, we are the first and only bye team to win a game. go iu bb, RaceToTheTop, Home Jersey and 4 others 7 Quote
str8baller Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I thought UGA was a little better than that. I swear I must’ve just caught all their good games. In any event, IU and Oregon are the two best teams left and there’s some real distance between them and Ol Miss and Miami, imo. I was kind of worried about that when the brackets came up but sort of assumed it was academic because OSU or Georgia would be on the other side anyways. Imo, next week is our biggest hurdle left. Pagoda Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Despite some of the bellyaching about the non-CFP bowls, they’re doing pretty well in TV ratings. There have been some changes with Nielsen but still these are good numbers. And while in person attendance for some of these bowls seemed light, these ratings are what matters most in terms economic viability. This is good. If a bowl makes money keep it going. Stuhoo Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Wisconsin had a rough year but showed promise last year. Their schedule will be easier and I’d expect them to be a tough team next year. An underrated team and a good one to avoid. OliviaPope40 and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote

If we’re being really honest with ourselves, much of this can be attributed to legalized sports gambling. IMHO. Quote
Home Jersey Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Apparently Marcus Freeman was involved in an altercation (using that word loosely) at his son's wrestling match in South Bend. Supposedly a coach for another school was talking trash to Marcus's son (who is committed to Cornell for wrestling) and Marcus got in the guys face and bumped him. No cops called. Quite the run for the Irish between this and Shrewsberry's meltdown the other day. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
