Passengers on the Titanic thought it was going to be great when they got to NYC also lol. The more I watch Miller coach, and this present team develop, the more I think it'd be great if Romeo comes to Bloomington, but if not? Ok, we're gonna be in good shape no matter what. I'm thinking his decision is more crucial to his future than ours. Be a part of a program with great history and a promising future... or Vandy?
Our future is bright . Another big iu win today.

I appreciate that the Langfords are doing complete due diligence in all aspects of this decision.

With that information, they will either pick IU, or he will show his value set.

I have some belief that given that dynamic, Romeo will pick IU.

There is no other line of thinking that makes any sense.

Exactly. In 5, 6, 7 years when he has a day or two off during the NBA All-Star break, does he want to go back to his school to catch a game at a SEC cellar-dwelling Vandy with Bryce Drew having been fired, or come to IU and get the Victor Oladipo treatment?
Tim Langford keeps saying business decision, and everything that say business decision points to IU.

To play devils advocate as long as the business decision being discussed by Tim Langford is one we have a hand at the table on.

A poster on Peegs said his dad, who refereed Rob Phinisee’s game tonight, asked Rob where he thought Romeo would go and Rob said Vanderbilt. So, another negative data point.

I doubt it matters where Phinisee thinks Romeo is going. I’ll continue to say it. I don’t think anybody knows, maybe not even Romeo himself yet.

If he does go there I wish him the best of luck trying to raise his stock in that situation. Today was a moment for Vandy to shine and they absolutely did not do that. As for the second part of your comment, I have no idea what you mean....so....yeah.

Replace way with say....but I figured that was obvious....obviously not....darn phone autocorrect.

I believe the Langfords when they say a decision hasn't been made yet, but it's discouraging to me how he seems to be closer to Darius than any of the other IU recruits.

I'm so ready for this recruitment to be over. At this point I don't even care where he goes. If he ends up at Vandy then we all know what's going on.

Me too. When I looked at the picture of Romeo at the Vandy game, he looked like he was ready for it to be over. This decision dominates their lives. No wonder some recruits like to commit before their senior season.

This is why the idea that he’s known but didn’t want to announce for fear of IU fan backlash makes absolutely zero sense. He’s trying to chase an Indiana scoring record and state title. Why he voluntarily bring on all of the stress that comes with recruiting just to avoid some boos?

Boos that wouldn't have happened either.

In all honesty I would love to get Romeo but i think recruits like TJD are more important. One he is going to be a 2-3 year player while Romeo is a one and done. Second he is more of an Indiana kid. The reason I say this is because he is in the middle of the state. Lets be honest New Albany is 10 minutes from the Kentucky border and if Louisville wasn’t into late night girls and $$ for recruits this recruitment would have been over months ago. Would I love to get Romeo yes but it’s not the be all end all. We are in good hands with Archie.

This^^^^^. My exact thoughts every time I hear this argument. I simply cannot see fans at a H.S. game, booing a kid who is going for the state scoring record, because he didn’t choose their collegiate program. That said, I do think there may be some smoke here. What IU fans did to the McIntosh kid from Northwestern got some national attention.
