JSHoosier Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 The only almost is that we almost lost to an awful team. It's completely embarrassing. A coworker had tickets to the game so he got to see that crap show in person. I feel sorry for him. Quote
ALASKA HOOSIER Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Yeah, I don't understand why max didn't play more. OG is legit MikeRoberts 1 Quote

Crimson and Cream Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 This game we would have lost last year, I know this is going to be overstated but Thomas Bryant is every bit the difference maker we all dreamed he would be. That inside presence saved us today. jdp403, maxwell, Josh and 1 other 4 Quote
bstall76 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Justin Albers @Justin_Albers 4m4 minutes ago Minnesota had 22 layups in the game. #iubb 22 layups out of 28 made baskets. That does not even happen in AAU. HoosierAloha, schoosier, WayneFleekHoosier and 1 other 4 Quote
hoosierdogg Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Hoosiers only had 11 turnovers - seems like there twice that many. But Minny only had 4 - wow!. If either team hits a meager percentage of their 3 point shots, the outcome would have been different. Both were 2-18 from deep - ouch. Crimson and Cream 1 Quote

cthomas Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Did someone know that scouts were watching and decide to showcase his"talents"? Happily take the win but something is off the past two games. Quote

That does not even happen in AAU. While they did get several fast break buckets, they got a lot blowing past our guys who were (unexplainably) guarding clear out to the 3-point line. That, friends, is poor game coaching. ALASKA HOOSIER, 323SGrant and Bruce038 3 Quote
chitown hoosier Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Looked like pre b1g defense out there. Can't believe IU still won with that D and crappy offense no matter who they faced. I guess that is a positive. Z really needs to stop taking horrible shots. Quote
fwgreenway Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 I think historically under this staff that IU plays better "generally" as an underdog. I want this program to thrive at being the hunted. bleedhoosier and MikeRoberts 2 Quote
VO5 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 I will NEVER understand why Troy ever touches the ball at the top of the key. Single handedly almost the reason we lost today. It is sickening. HoosiersLoveBanners, Bruce038, Crimson and Cream and 3 others 6 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Happy to get the win. Ugly win. We looked tired. I was disappointed we did not respond from a loss better than that... TB and OG were bright spots today. It's official---after seeing two games against them, Minny knows how to play defense against us. Our defense was good in the first half---second half horrible. Still---we could have folded when we got behind and we would have last year. Instead, we toughened up and got the win! Shake it off--tough game on the horizon against Michigan will require a lot better effort. ellen.walden 1 Quote
colonel06 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Knight would have them back at the gym tonight. Not work their ass off necessarily but to get them there for defensive walk through a and maybe shooting drills! Quote
