HoosierHoopster Posted June 1, 2025 Posted June 1, 2025 T Bryant’s 3’s were fun — Gotta like 2 well-liked former Hoosiers both playing well, against each other in a Conference Finals and in Indiana— OG had a strong game himself. pappy1865 and hoosierfan6157 2 Quote

Thomas Bryant playing real mins in a conf finals closer is nuts. Carlisle is crazy. Also, when they said it’s been exactly 25 years, I started to feel really old. I remember going to those Finals with my dad. hoosierfan6157, thebigweave, OliviaPope40 and 3 others 6 Quote

Popular Post Demo Posted June 1, 2025 Popular Post Posted June 1, 2025 So happy that Nancy Leonard and Herb Simon are still around to see this. Nancy and Slick straight saved the franchise and Herb convincing Mel Simon to buy the team and keep it local restored stability that had long passed. There is literally no Indiana Pacers without those 2. mamasa, moyemayhem, OliviaPope40 and 5 others 8 Quote

Brass Cannon Posted June 1, 2025 Posted June 1, 2025 Time for Carlisle to out coach the other team en route to another MVP finals. Saw something where Carlisle and Siakim are the only guys with finals experience. Not sure if it’s true but if so need to ride that advantage. Quote

Caruso played quite a bit for the Lakers bubble title team. TB technically is an NBA champion too (Denver) and logged 0:29 in the Finals lol. Quote
Pudman Posted June 1, 2025 Posted June 1, 2025 What a game! My wife and I watched it at Upstairs pub with our daughter, who just got into basketball through the Pacers this year and is now hooked! The place was packed and electric. Quite a few members of the football team were there, like Fisher and Sarratt. Plus, it was fun to celebrate the win with some of my former IU students, who happened to be there. What a great night! Pagoda, J34, hoosierfan6157 and 1 other 4 Quote

Malice in the Palace probably ruined their best chance at a title. Different era but those guys were tough. 7 hours ago, Brass Cannon said: Time for Carlisle to out coach the other team en route to another MVP finals. Be tough to out coach him to the extent the Pacers need, but Carlisle is one of the best for sure. Always thought one of Birds few big mistakes was getting rid of him the first time. Brass Cannon Posted June 2, 2025 Posted June 2, 2025 Malice at the palace is up there but I think Reggie not dunking it the year before was the killer Alford Bailey and pappy1865 2 Quote

Alford Bailey Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 This Pacers team is really fun to watch. So glad I got out to see them a few times this season. OKC will be tough but I said the same about the Knicks and Cavs. J34 and HoosierHoopster 2 Quote
