Home Jersey Posted Thursday at 03:24 PM Posted Thursday at 03:24 PM I am excited for this one. Expecting a Purdue win, but we already beat them once this year and crazy things happen in CBB, especially rivalries. Beating them on their floor would be sweet for so many reasons. Purdue will be coming off 3 days rest since Michigan. We are coming off 5 days rest. Hope we make the extra prep time count. We match up a lot better here than against Illinois. Popular Post Shooter Posted Friday at 12:06 AM Popular Post Posted Friday at 12:06 AM These last 5 years are maybe the best stretch in Purdue basketball history. And amongst the worst for IU. And still, over those 5 seasons Purdue is only 4-5 vs Indiana. Please let us win this game, it would be so fun. BGleas, tkbbn, hoosierdogg and 5 others 8 Quote

I think it depends on which IU team shows up. I am hopeful it's the one that battles and fights the entire game. Quote
Whoozhers Posted Friday at 02:18 PM Posted Friday at 02:18 PM Sure would be nice for Connerway and Sisley to contribute in this game. GO HOOSIERS!! FortWayneHoosier 1 Quote
FortWayneHoosier Posted Friday at 02:38 PM Posted Friday at 02:38 PM gonna be a tough one. I think we can win but it will be a matter of if we can hit shots...gonna need more than Lamar to show up BannerVille, BGleas, hoosierfan6157 and 1 other 4 Quote

But in addition, they are going to have to get back to team rebounding in these last five games. Remember when Tucker had 10 boards 3 games in a row? Others have to show up besides Alexis, especially on the defensive board. Of course we all know this is where our lack of size tends to show up on the rebounding side and is so critical to this teams ceiling. FortWayneHoosier 1 Quote

Gus Johnson’s mouth will be watering with the mentions of Cignetti and Mendoza. I don’t think he’s called a game of ours since the Big 10 title. Stuhoo Posted Friday at 03:23 PM Posted Friday at 03:23 PM Likely that either Tucker or TKR is going to have foul trouble. At Puredoo odds are pretty high that it will be Tucker. That'll be a major, major problem for IU. Wouldn't surprise me if Conor also has early foul trouble in Mackey, but we have a pretty strong defensive plan B with Conerway for that issue. If we can keep out of foul trouble I'd expect we will hang in and make a good game out of it. Purdoo is not Illinois or Michigan. JF87 1 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted Friday at 03:55 PM Posted Friday at 03:55 PM Gotta hit shots at an unreal rate. Refs won’t allow us to muck it up. Purdue will live at the line tonight. ALASKA HOOSIER and Alford Bailey 2 Quote
TheWatShot Posted Friday at 04:29 PM Posted Friday at 04:29 PM The other night against Michigan, Purdue didn't shoot a single free throw in the first half. Knowing Big Ten refs, and knowing how much we like to reach and grab, I expect a much different looking game tonight. Quote

Interesting note from game 1; Conor played 40 minutes without a single foul. Alexis picked up 3 in 14 minutes, Bailey 3 in 25, Tucker 3 in 35. Stuhoo 1 Quote
